  1. 199! First time in Onederland in 30 years! :)

  2. I currently weigh more than most people starting weights, and yet I feel so awesome! This is why I don't compare myself to others. What's good for you is not always good for others.

Yes about denial! I am still shocked at the people that don't recognize me because I just never realized how heavy I was to begin with! Great attitude!! Keep up the great work!

  3. Does anyone know if you can have sugar free pudding on the 10 day pre-diet?

  4. Suppose I hit the 3 week stall. Scale hasn't moved in about a week and a half and I'm starting to think it never will again...

  5. Only lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks. I have not cheated once since surgery. Seriously folks, wouldn't you be pissed and/or disappointed too?

I have not seen one person on here who actually lost 30 pounds (much less 40 pounds) in the first month. If you see those numbers, they are typically including their pre-op diet weight loss. I lost 12 pounds in the 1 week liquid pre-op diet and 12 in the first month FOLLOWING surgery. Seriously, you have to find a way to not focus on what others say. It will make you miserable and it is more than likely not accurate info.

It is likely the 3 week stall that is so often talked about. Give it some time. You will be shocked what the pounds add up to in a few months and then at a year, etc.

  7. Unexpected NSV a few moments ago...I was trying to text a friend a funny picture by putting my double chin on display. For the life of me couldn't get the double chin to show! 5 short months ago I could easily show off a triple chin. Hell yes, I am proud!

  8. Approved for skin removal!!! 1st time was the charm. I am estatic!

  10. Change takes time and it takes consistency. It is okay to stumble, trip, or fall as long as you get right back up, wipe your knees, and continue on your course.

  11. Grr. I read a recipe the other day using vanilla and fuzzy navel Syntrax Nectar (to taste like an orange julius) and now I can't find it! Grrr.

  12. Had my 6th and final appointment of my medically supervised period this morning! Down 63lbs since my first appointment in December!! My file is being sent to insurance for approval this afternoon and barring no significant delays on the insurance approval, I'll be getting sleeved June 17th!!!!

  13. Well my surgery was 4 weeks and 4 days ago. Aparantly I ha e no idea what I am doing because I only lost 7 lbs since surgery....which I could of done with a regular stomach....and I would of had regular bowl movements....so frustrated.

  14. down 81lbs with 10 to go. why do i still feel fat?

  15. down, down, the allergics knocked me for a loop this weekend...

  16. NSV? Lost and caught: So there I was--surf fishing (my favorite thing among all things)--standing on the beach in my old, way too loose sweat pants and surf shoes when my lines went "zzzzziiiiiiinnnnnggggg!!!!!" (really big fish on the hook and taking my line). I yanked the rod, fish lurched deeper into the ocean--pulling me in. There I was knee deep--my now water soaked sweats (now way too big since weight loss) down around my knees. What happened? I caught a forty four inch striped bass and lost my pants. I never felt the least bit embarrassed. I was feeling way to joyful, not only for catching a nice fish, but for losing enough weight to lose my pants in the process! I guess it's a good thing I wore my new baby blue undies that day. smile emoticon I was the only woman surf fishing that day and all of the guys were good spirited about the whole experience and attempted to save my "dignity" Ha! I had just out fished all of them!!!!! Joy, joy,

  17. breakfast for dinner. because I had such a long nap I am not sure what day it is!

  19. I'm finding the need to use my favorite saying ..."If you try to be smarter then I'll try to be nicer"!

  20. Today, I am 9 months post op! I'm down 148 since surgery and 203 from my highest weight! I "only" lost 7 pounds this month, which is less than half of my average, so I'm thinking I am leaving the honeymoon phase. :'( 7 Pounds is still 7 pounds, and my life and health are both really great. So, no complaints here!

  21. Feeling very dizzy today....hmmm first time for that.

  22. 2 days until I can have FOOD again! Been a long 5 weeks.

@B_D - one little tip on the eggs - TINY bites! And if you have one of those coffee cup warmers or something you can put your plate on to keep your eggs warm while you eat very slowly, it will really help. I didn't do the cup/plate warmer thing until way to far in my journey and found out it was so nice to have warm food again!! Enjoy!
