  2. Yes Lord! This woman is officially sleeved! Never say what you cant do or accomplish. If you want it, go for it, have faith, let your fears go, and believe!

  3. Gah! Don't know if is because I am healing but the last two days I am a bottomless pit! I never ever feel this way. It might just be the need for comfort food. Ugh!

I was just about to send you a PM about me doing the same thing! I have been binging on chocolate covered almonds - last night and tonight. I poured the last ones out in the trash but I feel AWFUL. I know I am stress eating trying to adjust to the new job. What can we do to encourage each other?? Blah!!

Well you did better than I did then! I gave in to the cravings I am afraid! Still WAY less than I would have in the past, but still..... Start a new job tomorrow and the anxiety is getting to me. So kudos to you my dear for sticking it out with the carrots!! You got this!

  5. Unemployed again - twice in 1 year - at least it was my choice this time. I have prospects and won't be out of work long this time but still sort of wish I could eat a giant bag of potato chips or a pint of ice cream. Yes I know that doesn't help long term.... Ready to give up adjulting for the week!

  6. boo. I lost my pedometer today working in the yard. good thing it was old, and free. now shopping for a replacement - anyone have a recommendation?

  7. Out of the 220s and into the 210s! I now weigh less than I have lost. Also, my bmi is not high enough to qualify for surgery. Here's a new progress picture! Left is a new picture I found, and it was sobering. I believe it was my true heaviest. Right is the fourth of July when we went to see fireworks. Warning - I'm in a sports bra and undies in my before picture. Don't look if you don't want to see that! :)http://imgur.com/wxCv8k6

  8. Who would've thunk that a teeny 2oz hamburger patty would be nearly too much food for me!

  9. I'm almost certain I'm going into maintenance even though I still weigh 225 pounds. Is this normal? Is this my body's "set point"? Trying not to be discouraged, but I've been within the same three pounds for over a month. Could this just be a stall brought on by lack of exercise as I heal from knee surgery? Advice is appreciated! D:

Girl, you have lost SO much so fast and had knee surgery! I am sure your body is concentrating on healing your knee and then catching up on the loss. It will start up again - I'm sure of it! And 5 pounds a month would be reasonable after all you have lost , so don't be discouraged. I thought mine had stopped and then without real reason, I dropped 10 pounds in maybe 16 days that got me to goal and finished my weight loss. It was very odd and unexplainable. Our bodies are wondrous machines doing WAY more than we can imagine! And you have proven that you can do this. Hang in there!!

  10. It's always nice hitting a home run with your SO. She has had such a rough week, found the right restaurant to relax and reconnect. The whole night was perfect. She left looking relaxed and refreshed.

  11. Supposedly "final" job interview in the morning for a job I think I really want. Once I have decision on new job, I get to book my plastics surgery. Can't sleep!! Too much on my mind!

Thank you @Christinamo7 for understanding and saying that!! Would you believe I got a call from a different company to come interview yesterday? Blah! I am blessed to have options but I HATE having to make decisions that are going to disappoint others. (Yep! I am a people pleaser to the core!) Trying to keep others' feelings out of it and commit to what is best for me, but that is tough!

Thanks so much all! The call didn't go quite as expected. I know I am still getting the job but they are sure dragging this out! Part of the issue is that I already have plastic surgery on deposit and want it done this year. I already cancelled one date trying to work around a seminar they previously told me they wanted me to go to (a month ago!) and then today they were surprised when I told them I had postponed it until October. They said "can't you get it done before then like in July?". Um, no... clearly they haven't had surgeries before (or at least with good surgeons) as he is clearly already booked 3 months out and that is good (some surgeons are way further than that!). Anyway, they do want to move forward but everyone is out until next week so they STILL don't have an offer package ready so I have no idea if it is a good deal or not. Thanks for all the kind thoughts and wishes. Sorry if I sound annoyed. Just frustrated that I have to wait YET AGAIN for them to get it together....

  14. So I'm fighting with my brain right now. I really, really need to get rid of my old clothes that don't/won't fit but part of me is still afraid of failing. Last winter's wardrobe was well over 2k and I just can't seem to part with it. Ideas?

  15. I was tardy having my 18 month blood work done by almost 3 months. The good news is, so far all of my labs are coming back great! I will say my thyroid was low and we just adjusted my levothryoxine down again for the 3rd time.

  16. The most annoying part of weight loss is being stuck in that zone between plus size and regular size where truly nothing fits.

  17. It takes over an hour to drink 8 oz of soup with protein powder in it. Gah.

Hang in there! I know it doesn't seem like it right now, but that will get better fairly quick.....

I also drank a little pickle juice! Not sure I am recommending it necessarily but it sure helped quench my thirst and gave me a little savory flavor. I also drank a LOT of Propel Fitness water and PowerAde Zero. Hang in there! The first couple of weeks are the toughest!

Thanks @Christinamo7!! And yea that darn maintenance. :) It is what I have been fearing all along but trying to think about it one meal at a time just like I have for the last year! Will be interesting to see what that looks like 6 months or a year from now!
