  10. Last night I went from super excited that my surgery is only two weeks away, to absolutely terrified. It hit me while I was trying to go to sleep. It was almost a complete panic attack. I started thinking about surgery and being under anesthesia. I don't fear the lifestyle change that comes after, my fears are 100% based on this nagging idea that I could be THAT person who has the negative reaction to anesthesia, or throws a clot, or bleeds out, and on and on and on. After finally falling asleep I had nightmares all night related to death. I trust my surgeon 100%, I just all of a sudden got hit with the anxiety surrounding the potential complications. I really hope that when the day finally gets here that I am not a complete wreck.

  11. 10 months post-op today! Only 6.6 pounds to goal!

  12. Getting really sad. I'm not suppose to eat real food till 12 weeks out and for now everything I eat seems to give me nausea except for yogurt and I'm really getting tired of yogurt. I've lost 20 lbs since surgery and that really doesn't seem like much to me. I'm getting really down, only 20 lbs and can't eat anything but yogurt! It just seems like for all this trouble I should either lose more weight or be able to at least eat some mashed potatoes or beans!

  13. Dumping Syndrome is my worse ENEMY !!

  19. Sleeve is working, so why did I find myself ALMOST biting on some ridiculous miracle weight loss drops one of my friends is using? Dumb, dumb, dumb - get it together, girlie!

  20. Back to work checklist - - I pray I don't forget anything... nervous about food

  21. Reality of going back to work on Monday. Hard to believe that it has been 3 weeks since surgery!

  22. Not sure how i feel about being put on cholesterol medication. I know i need it, but never thought I would need to be on it at 28 years old. Wish I had started taking my health more seriously earlier in life.

  23. I did it! Woot woot! I finally hit Onederland today! 34lbs to goal now!

  24. I made it to the hotel in TJ. Surgery in the morning!

  25. Had a rough day yesterday. As most of you know I recently had cervical spinal fusion via my throat. It has been very hard to eat or drink for 2.5 weeks now. Apparently my heart rate has been very low and I let myself get dehydrated. Well, I stood up yesterday took a step and woke up on the floor. Not a good thing for someone in a neckbrace with 3 new fusions. Ugh! Spent the day in the er getting fluids. Now they want me to see a cardiologist because of my unexplained low heart rate and over 51 age. My heart rate did not improve even after I was rehydrated. Luckily I was wearing my brace and other than being sore, I feel a little better today. I am thankful that I did not really cause a huge problem. Moral of the story, don't let yourself get dehydrated no matter what! And how did your Saturday go!
