Sometimes when the newness wears off so does the enthusiasm. I'm 53 and I just never want to go back to where I was. I'm pretty sure I won't but this just reaffirms this is a lifetime journey

  12. Hi. I was sleeved last February so I missed the holidays! I've been doing great losing 100+lbs including pre-op. But now I'm nervous for Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas and FOOTBALL season! I'm really going to stay focused, but to be honest if I didn't have a problem eating I wouldn't have had surgery. It's making me nervous and anxious. Anyone feeling this way?
  13. I'm happy to read that I'm not alone in this. Im almost 7 months out, losing weight and feeing great but I'm slipping just a tad on the weekends. Nothing big but it adds up and I don't want it to snowball!

  19. Please don't be ashamed of anything. I don't know you but it makes me sad you feel this way. Remember this is not easy!! I'm 52 and I've lost and gained 100s of lbs. We are fighters and from reading your post you are a competitor and not ready to throw in the towel! Keep your eye on the prize! You are a winner!
