  1. Thank you! I just reset my calories on MyFitness Pal! I didn't realize you could do that
  2. Hi. Sorry this is my first challenge so do I addy weight every week or do I post it here and you add it to the spread sheet
  3. I'm in! Will post again w starting weight and goal. Thx!
  4. I'm in the same boat! I do really well all week and then the weekend hits! I've been snacking, drinking wine, oh and eating Peanut Butter. I'm 7 months out and scaring myself. I've decided today that I'm not going to go through that anymore! No more wine or unhealthy snacks! My weight loss was slowing down so I think I was getting discouraged and figured why not sneak something her and there, I wasn't losing anyway. But I realize this is what got me in trouble in the first place and I don't want to go back Let's start a new day and be disciplined! We can do this!
  5. 7 months post op and yes it takes work but I LOVE it and no regrets. I had the 6 month required wait but w that and post op I'm down 109lbs. There's no way I would have had that success without this tool. Good Luck!
  6. That was really well written! I pictured the whole scene. You should consider writing if you don't already. Love the NSV
  7. Mine was 119! Crazy! Doc said not to worry your liver is working overtime right now during rapid wait loss faze but will taper off. It's not at all uncommon
  8. Awesome! December is just around the corner!
  9. Mine was 6 months also. I was sleeved within 3 weeks after my last 6 month appointment. My surgeon requires a 2 week preop diet
  10. I have to agree with you. I'm about 7 months post op and while the weight is coming off and I feel so much better I think my anxiety was getting worse. As I explain it to some people I had to basically give up every addiction over night and that is stressful! I used food for so many coping mechanisms that it made me a nervous wreck! I'm getting the help I need now, but it was miserable for awhile. So many mental and physical changes to deal with at once. That being said I wouldn't change a thing!
  11. I didn't do so well either. But tomorrow is another day! Don't feel bad. This is a journey
  12. Me too! It's best just to avoid or just have a little when you're able but only once in awhile
  13. How exciting for you!! I only took a week off and it was fine. I have a desk job. Just don't over do it. If you get tired, rest. You won't feel so great the first few days but soon after that you will start feeling better
  14. That's a normal feeling. Having any kind of surgery is definitely concerning at times. I had mine in February and it was really pretty simple and I would definitely do it all again. I could have never lost this weight without it
  15. I'm with Babbs. I'd rather be thin w excess skin then "morbidly obese" w firmer skin.
  16. These are hilarious!
  17. Just try to stay in the moment. You don't know what's going to happen. I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm proud you went to work! That's huge. When I'm in stressful situations I want to stay home and cry even when I know it's not the right thing to do. My family went through a similar situation with an older brother. It was a high profile case that was in the papers. My heart broke for him everyday along with my mom. But things are working out fine now and it has made him a better person. Just keep loving each other Good job on the weight loss!
  18. Hi. Does your total weight loss of 99.5 include pre-op or was it all post op?
  19. Oh my gosh! Think how great you'll feel going into the holidays!!! Good luck! I'm 6 months out and it is one of the best decisions of my life!
  20. I weigh every day. It keeps me accountable. But I also know that if I trust my plan it will work. Plus I'm very competitive, even with myself, and it's just about football season! Go Broncos!
  21. What's a 360 body lift? Your stomach looks great!
