I was cold for the first few weeks and now I am back to sweating like crazy! The doctor promised to make me cold .. I am still eating!! People look at me like u am having a heart attack. I can't do anything without sweat pouring off of me!!! Please bring on the cool.. I am 8 months post op and still waiting????

Flew to Alaska and had much of the belt left and did not use an extension!! Also walked up and down the aisle without hitting any of the seats. Had no issues with having enough space in the bathroom!!!!

Hi Sam. Dr.Varnell performed my surgery on 3/25/2015. He told me about the left pain before I had the surgery. It is where the largest instrument/incision is located. However, when I came out of surgery I had severe back pain/spasms. It was due to how I was placed on the hard operating table. I am 17 days out and no longer have left side pain and my back is doing better. Just continue taking your pain meds and you will heal nicely. He told me just this last week that as my belly heals so will my back, and he was right. It was all about I held and favored my belly and how I walked hunched over.
I was also able to take muscle relaxers to help with my back.
I hope this helps somewhat.

Okay, I know this is a disgusting topic but... two fingers down the throat does the trick. Again, I emphasize – not in a bulimic kind of way. This is very occasional, and only to clear an obstruction. I'm not trying to get rid of any "bad food" I've eaten. It's usually caused by some dry chicken or pork, or even kidney Beans. Actually, the last bite that puts me over the edge is often green veggies that land on top of the stuck Protein and pile up. Somehow, when I get to the last bite of my meal, I mentally move on, so I forget to chew it thoroughly. And that's when it happens. Okay, so here's the "good" part.... Since the food has never made it down to my stomach, there are no stomach acids on it and it's not too gross coming back up. It's not nearly as gross as what I've just written!

He is very proud of my progression, I have lost 20pounds in 2wks and since beginning this journey I have lost a total of 38 pounds???? said he would see me in 6weeks ????????????????

Laurac727 hang in there you are doing great!!!! I am grouching and have not had your problems !!! I guess we will all make it through this and adjust to the changes. Thank you everyone for the continued support through this whole thing and as we all continue down this road together!!! So blessed to have this site and all of you!!! I finally feeling more likely self. I was having much pain in my left side, I think the surgeon punched me in the ribs ,,, Lol

March 25 is my surgical date:) it will be done in Oewsso,Ok .. I just live a few miles north, Oologah .
