Thanks - I am at 90 lbs lost, so the next milestone is 100 lbs. Hopefully, it won't take too long to get there. Just got to keep doing what I know to do and it will happen.

@MrsSugarbabe - I was that way too. I kept going back and forth from 201 to 202 for a week and a half. Then finally one day - poof 198. My scale is weird so it always gives you different readings. I have made up a rule, I weigh 3 times and take the weight that appears at least twice. LOL. Sometimes, I get 3 different weights so I have to weigh 4 times to get one twice. This morning it was 197, 198, 198. So, there you go!

  2. My scale is driving me crazy! I am so close to "Onederland." However, my scale fluctuates a bit. I can weigh 3 times and get 3 different weights. I usually weigh until I get the same weight twice and then go with it. Or, I just go with the highest weight. Today I weighed 199.5, 202 and 202. So, 202 it is. But I want to get to Onderland!!!!

fluctuation is the name of the game - stop weighting 2, 3 times a day - i weigh once a day (works for me)many others weigh only 1x a week - don't let the scale run your life!!! onederland is around the corner - really - keep up the good job kathy

  3. At the half-way mark this morning (down 75.5). Woohoo! I wish the 2nd half would be as easy as the first; however, I know the hard work is ahead of me.

Boy isn't that the truth! I am down 94 and have 50 more I would like to lose. It is coming off so slowly now. Maybe a pound a week or slightly more.

Yes, I am not looking forward to that phase. I am still basking in the fat just falling off. However, you know that in all of our old "diet" attempts, 1 or 2 pounds a week would have been good. We have been spoiled. We can struggle through the slow times together:) You can do it. I can do it!

Absolutely we can do it. To your point even during the slower times I am still losing. Before surgery I got to the point where I could hardly lose anything. I am so very thankful for this gift!

  4. Hit the 70 lb mark today. Only a few more pounds to go until I am at my halfway mark!

Thanks all! @blondebomb it sounds like your drs. office if very accomodating! I think my dr. is scheduling approx. 3 weeks out. I am worried about dodging all this flu and sickness while waiting!

thats understandable..so far me an the hubs has escaped the "flu"...we dont get the shots but I do spray essential oils I put rosemary oil in spray bottle with water an also added eucolypcas oil with it as well an I spray ll handles , counters an spray our hands thru out the day an so far so good. I picked up that lil tidbit of the essential oils from a surgeon that was their family secret an stayed well yr round....dont stress yourself...take 1 day at a time get some things done around the house that you'd like to do it might be a few wks to a few months to get your strength back..it took me 3 to 4 months to get somewhat strength back. it have limited anyway so pace yourself..keep us posted!
