I met with a cardiologist yesterday. I definitely feel better after seeing him. He believes having two major surgeries in 8 months has played a huge role. My passing out, dizziness and low heart rate is being caused by 3 things: surgeons using steroids during and after spine surgery has caused my adrenal system to be out of whack which is causing my body to take longer to acclimate to positional changes, dehydration from the ability to swallow much for the last 4 weeks and the nerve in my cervical spine that was impacted and controls heart rate is irritate. He said it is like a perfect storm. An endocrinologist can help me with the adrenal gland issue. Of course Imy throat is getting better making hydration a bit easier and I just have to give that nerve some time to heal. My heart looks very health! Thanks for all the well wishes!

ONEDERLAND! I am so excited to finally be in onderland. It has been many, many years since I have been here and it feels great!

@MrsSugarbabe - I was that way too. I kept going back and forth from 201 to 202 for a week and a half. Then finally one day - poof 198. My scale is weird so it always gives you different readings. I have made up a rule, I weigh 3 times and take the weight that appears at least twice. LOL. Sometimes, I get 3 different weights so I have to weigh 4 times to get one twice. This morning it was 197, 198, 198. So, there you go!

Well my spinal fusion surgery went extremely well yesterday and I am on the mend. Lots of pain of course but also lots of good drugs to help with that.bthanks so much for all the well wishes and prayers . I swear I felt all my friends and family including my bariatric pal family around me.

This morning I am on my way to Minneapolis. I am having a 3 level cervical spinal fusion tomorrow morning, I am hoping it will stabilize my spine and takeaway some of this neck, shoulder and arm pain. I hope all goes well!

What an exciting milestone for me! I am no longer obese on the BMI chart. As of this morning, I have hit the overweight section of the chart. I cannot wait until I get into the healthy portion. The last time I was not considered obese or morbidly obese was when I was 24 years old. That is over half my life! Woot woot!

Ugh! I just got scheduled for a 3 level cervical spine fusion surgery for June 3rd. Having had spinal fusion before I am very nervous. That kind of surgery can be very painful. Hopefully it will solve my neck and shoulder issues.

At the half-way mark this morning (down 75.5). Woohoo! I wish the 2nd half would be as easy as the first; however, I know the hard work is ahead of me.
