Insure Nutrition is a rip off!!! I received four boxes of Premier Protein, Multivitamins, and scar cream. They billed my insurance over $7000. I am canceling them in the morning. That is ludicrous!!!!! They should be prosecuted for insurance scam/abuse.

Same thing I'm on. Day 5 for me. Last two days very bad headaches and bad taste in mouth from ketosis. The consumption part is not bad...I'm satisfied. #nocheating #determined

I started my pre-op liquids on Jan 27. My doctor requires us to purchase our shakes from his office. Two weeks strict liquid only. Four shakes a day, Crystal Light, Diet Green Tea, water, 1 cup of clear broth a day, SF jello. The lbs are already dropping off. The headaches and ketosis are the worst part.

How did keeping the curvy figure work out for you. I worry about the same thing. Surgery is Feb. 10th. I am on my secong day of pre-op liquids. Not bad....lol!!!

For me....It's about me!!! I did my research and am well aware of the decision I made for myself. If one allows their decision to be swayed by another....I don't think their decision is for nor about themself. I would think it's about pleasing others. I may be wrong, just my opinion. @@LipstickLady you make a good point.

I tried to talk to a coworker that had bypass 3 years ago. She was very negative and discouraging in her conversation. I think...No I know that the negativity stems from having gained all of her weight back. She said "if you have to do the two week liquids prior to surgery then you should be able to do it on your own." I AM DONE WITH ALL OF MY PREREQUISITES AND APPROVED BY INSURANCE. I AM HAVING MY SURGERY WITH DR. DAVID KIM OF KIM BARIATRIC INSTITUTE IN COLLEYVILLE, TX. I DON'T KNOW MY SURGERY DATE YET BECAUSE I GOT APPROVED THURSDAY AND WAITING FOR DR'S OFFICE TO CALL WITH SURGERY DATE. I AM HOPING FOR EARLY FEBRUARY SO I CAN BUY ME A CUTE OUTFIT FOR MY 52ND BIRTHDAY IN MARCH. NOTHING MUCH DUE TO I WILL STILL BE LOSING AFTER THAT BUT JUST THE IDEA OF BEING ON MY NEW WEIGHT LOSS ADVENTURE.

I'm excited! Insurance company (BCBSTX) received paperwork today. Now the wait is on. What should I be doing now while waiting for approval? Should I begin purchasing anything or what? Once I am approved I will have to attend Bariatric University, endoscopy, and pre-op hospital visit.

I am done with all insurance prerequisites. Drs office called today to say submitting for authorization. Once they get authorization I will get surgery date. Now I'm excited and nervous. How long does that usually take.....BCBSTX.
