I just had mine done today. Its a requirement for my sergeon.

Just finished my Egd, they did biopsies and found a small hernia. Ready to get this sleeve on the road. Hopefully I will have a date soon.

I have an EGD scheduled for February 12, can someone please tell me what to expect. They told me I have to have someone drive me back home.

Thanks @@Ladiec2 I have done alot of research on surgeons and I narrowed it down to 2. The first one is very popular in my my city but when I went for consultation I felt like just a number, but the second surgeon had a great bedside manner, took his tome and answered all of my questions. I have found nothing but good reviews on him.

Just found out that im already approved for surgery.....I haven't even seen a psych or nutritionist I have only gotten pre op clearance from my cardiologist. I have bcbs Massachusetts. Does this sound normal? ???

Went for my second echo/stress test today and everything was normal. I was worried because they showed abnormalities the first time. The cardiologist told me that im cleared for surgery. YAAAY now all I need is sleep study, pshyc, nutritionist. Im excited just wanted to share the good news.

My stress test came back with some type of abnormalities so know I have to get a stress/echo test so they can see how my heart functions after exercising. I go in two weeks im starting to feel hopeless.

Hello, I have bcbs kinda scared they told me copay of $500 and no more than $3000 out of pocket. Did anyone have to pay this much? Hopefully I won't.
