My cardiac clearance involved an ekg (actually had 3 one from my cardiologist one from my pcp and one during presurgical testing all were good). Cardiologist figured I was 25 with no history of heart issues with a good ekg. My dad received and ekg and also had to do a stress test.

I have to get cardiac clearance. I go for a heart echo this Wednesday. I already had a stress test. I have no history of problems and no cholesterol problems, but I had a stress induced cardio myopathy during the surgery when they removed my band. I hope to get my clearance soon and then I can schedule my surgery.

I had a reaction caused by the anesthesia. Hopefully it will be a one time incident and hasn't caused any permanent damage.
