  1. You look pretty in both pictures, ofcourse healthier in the second.
  2. Well my hunger has returned, which freaks me out a bit. I can eat pretty much everything now. Though I haven't tried rice. Tried a couple of bites of bread and didn't cause any trouble. I am eating fruits, chicken, fish, eggs and bit of veggies but only lately. It was tough to get the Protein target, since I have not been able to tolerate Protein shakes, hence I ate chicken, beef, fish egg or cheese only. Now starting some veggies and fruits. Had trouble getting enough fluids also, fish 3 months but now I can drink 70-80 oz easily and am peeing like usual which is a great relief.
  3. December sleevers What are you eating now. I haven't started bread or rice yet, but have started fruit with skin and found no issues. Going through my first major stall since surgery but overall feel very well.
  4. Yes! Especially with weight training...protein is essential for muscle recovery/repair and growth! Rule of thumb: 1 gram per body weight. See the following article. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21375795 But 150-170 is 2gram per kg body weight. I am concerned about going higher than 100gram per day.
  5. Is it okay to eat 150-170 gram protein over longterm?
  6. As many have said on this site, after 2-3 months the only regret is, why I didn't do it before.
  7. Few of my friends with BMI 28 had consulted bariatric surgeons for sleeve, they were told that patients with BMI less than 30 do not loose much weight after sleeve, just 10-20 Ibs.
  8. It says access to app is restricted.
  9. BTW protein bars were very helpful too.
  10. I am just back from a tour of a week and I completed 3 months while on the tour. What I did was eat cheese omlete in Breakfast, which almost always available in most hotels. Bought and kept few packs of milk for Fluid intake. We were provided lunch and dinner during conference, i would eat cheese, chicken/beef, fruit part of it and leave the rest. A couple of times when we did go to fast food place, I ate just few fries, like 3-4 with Water.
  11. I am little over 3 months now, so far doing well. SInce a week or two, I have started to feel hungry and I am scared of this feeling. I am afraid I may gain again, though I still eat more or less the same as I did a month ago. I can now understand what some of fellow sleevers have described to me, the fear of gaining weight, even when they are in perfect shape.
  12. Had it the first week after surgery, though it caused pain, as wounds were not healed, but, during my weight loss prior to surgery my drive was high and same thing afterwards, had the better of me. It then dropped after about 2 weeks, cntrary to what most people here said. It then rocketed again after about 6 weeks.
  13. I am nearing 3 months too, but, on the contrary, I am a lot more calm. I have become a lot more patient and have a positive outlook on things. My family and friends are loving it. I have stopped smoking but I have returned to my old habit of tea.
  14. 50lbs, was sleeved Dec 14
  15. 1Ib a day is excessive if it continues.
  16. Today was a pleasant surprise, in two different stores, I was looking for size 34 trousers and two different salesmen looked at me and said, you should try 32!
  17. I have wasted so much money on Proteins shakes. I brought 4 different flavours since surgery and could not take any!
  18. No roids but had twice severe constipation and thought I will get roids. Now on senna tabs every other day.
  19. Have the same issue, I am dry all over, even my hair have become dry though I had oily skin before surgery.
  20. I have started taking real sugar in my tea, about 5 cups daily. But then I hardly take carbs in any other form.
  21. From what I have read, water is the same whether inside our cells or in tummy or bottle.
  22. I didn't really understand how 1 bottle can give you hydration of 64oz, unless it just keeps the Water in the body and doesn't let it go out, which I think is not healthy either. Water is supposed to come out with pee and take with it the waste products.
  23. A pizza hanging below the belly button.
