Exactly two weeks since surgery and I've only lost 8 lbs, I feel like I know that stalls happen but why me why now :(

What's so wrong with the truth?

Thanks everyone I've only lost 7 lbs and I'm doing everything right just sad that my scale just isn't moving! I'm looking forward to it moving again and altho the weight hasn't budged I'm noticing my belly is shrinking and my panties are getting loose lol

I've only lost 7 lbs since 2/25 when I was sleeved I thought I was having it hard but if your losing a lb a day wow that's a lot

I've only lost 7 lbs since I had surgery on feb 25 and I'm so depressed about it I don't understand why since I'm not eating and only drinking Protein Shakes and yogurts
-
I was sleeved 2/25 and altho at first getting my liquids in was hard I now get about two premier shakes a day to get my 60g of Protein and I get Water in, I've tried scrambled eggs and everything goes in fine and altho in small portions I feel like I'm not losing weight! The scale hasn't budged in a few days and it's weird because I only get 320 calories a day!

I was sleeved on 2-25 I tried scrambled eggs today and it went great but I couldn't finish a full egg lol it was more like 6 pieces of the egg and little ones at that and I felt like I had eaten a huge meal
-
I'm the same but I feel it like a bubble passing! I know I need to sto or slow down
-
At what stage were you all comfortable with soft scrambled eggs? What foods 2 weeks out of surgery were the easiest during this time? Any good ideas?

Pretty sure I got almost no Protein first 3 days while I was on clear liquids. I was mostly traveling up until day 4 and Isopure made me gag. I got a bit of Protein from unjury chicken broth and thats it. Started full liquids day 4 and went gang busters on the protein...shakes, milk, Soup with unflavored protein powder added and drinkable yogurt (Siggi and Kefir). I made sure EVERYTHING I drank had protein and didn't waste my tiny space with popsicles, crystal light, etc. After I hit 60g, I would throw in some Decaf herbal tea or Vitamin Water to get my fluids up to 64oz if needed. I've gotten 60+ g protein everyday since day 5. And yes, getting in protein early on is extremely important for healing and preventing hair loss.
I absolutely agree protein is the most important I to am 7 days out and I get my Premier Protein in 2 a day and then I get my Water in! I tolerate it quite well, I know when I feel full but I have tons of energy! I also take a chewable multi vit twice a day!

I was sleeved 2/25 and I was on clear liquids for the first day but they served me Protein Shakes at the hospital on day two and now I'm on Protein shakes at home along with Water of course and I start my purred on Monday the 9

We can still enjoy alcohol after surgery!
-
My nut doesn't worry about the amount of calories she wants me to focus on Protein and getting that in along with the greens! Just stay away from carbs and it won't matter how many calories

That's a great loss don't be so hard on yourself

Of course you will feel hungry sometimes we're still human lol I was sleeved 2/25 and I get like a little hunger twinge I drink my shakes and I feel great! We will still experience hunger though! We still have to eat! I can't wait to get into the solids I'm craving and chicken Caesar salad lol I'm a big fan of chicken breasts lol I don't have and never had a eating issue but i was overweight down 21 lbs since feb 11 when I started my liquid preop

Small bites, take your time and when it starts hurting it may be that your full
-
I'm 5 days post op and wondering what people are drinking! It's getting boring
-
After surgery you won't tolerate any solids so if I were you for your health I would stick to your liquids! I'm 2 days post op and. Believe me I wouldn't be able to eat any amount of solids at this point I can barely tolerate the liquids :s

I'm from bathurst post op 2 days with Dr semerjian, come home one day early no pain meds just Tylonal!
-
Feb 25 can't wait so excited I'm not nervous at all I'm at 277 and I've been on a boost liquid diet for 7 days and another 7 to go yay
-
Haha when I have to cook for my kids I'm almost in a trance the food smells so good lol cheated once took a bite but that's it just a taste lol
-
I'm 5 days in also 2/25 is surgery for me I cheated a couple bites here and there no complete meal by any means I'm down 5 lbs since feb 11 so I must be doing something right! I find drinking a lot of Water helps curb the hunger, I was not a Bing eater or in the fridge all day long before pre op diet but I love chicken and my kids to so when I'm making them chicken I take a couple pieces to take the edge off lol I was never a junk ester or soda drinker so I don't miss those things but just sitting down to eat some chicken breast with veggies is what gets to me I don't think a few bites will make a big difference to my liver size honestly because some surgeons don't require a pre op diet at all!
-
Day 5 and I felt the same I had a headache for the first 3. It I'm not addicted to food and I was not a Bing eater so it hasn't been to bad I'm not all that hungry but just eating some yummy eggs or a piece of chicken is what gets me lol I can't wait until I'm healed up and can start enjoying my meals again.
