  1. could it be that im not perceived as fat anymore? ... am i still viewed as "fat" by society? am i normal now?

Interesting. I read a news report this morning about a missing person who was described as "178cm, 85kg, slim build". I'm less than an inch taller and weigh 13lb more - I can't believe anyone so close to my stats could possibly be perceived as 'slim'. I know I'm still fat but it made me realise I'm getting more towards what society would probably consider almost 'normal' now.

You look awesome, by the way!

  2. I went to get a mole removed from my back when I was pregnant. He asked me to lay on my stomach and I said I couldn't, and he said "Oh, are you pregnant? When are you due?" and I replied "Yesterday".

The man was a fucking doctor, and couldn't even tell I was nine months pregnant.

Obviously the point is that I was just so fat in general, but... a doctor?! Nine months?!

Eleven years later and I still can't believe it.

  3. They did at least one sleeve in the series. Can't remember who it was, but I think I just searched for 'fat doctor sleeve' in YouTube.

I've watched all those episodes at least a couple of times - I was annoyed that they have an announcement on the YouTube channel saying Series 5 was coming soon, then it never bloody did!

And yeah, Shaw Somers is a bit of alright, for sure!

  4. in the early stages small sips every couple of minutes. after a week or so in it will be easier to drink more. i am about six weeks out i drink a full glass of Water in about 5 mins. i really don't feel restrictions with liquids but i dont want to push it.

I'm 4 days out and struggling to consume the right amount of Water. And being this dehydrated is making my blood pressure and heart rate go up. Any tips to getting in fluids?

I couldn't stand drinking water post-op. I got fluids from broth (20-40ml at a time), ice blocks and crushed ice.

  5. ... my surgery went really good, did not have any gas paines or nauesa.

My issue though is that when I swallow and the Fluid hits my stomach, it really feels strange, not a pleasant feeling.

Same on both counts. Pleased to report that liquids are going down better already, though! Hopefully your stomach will settle down for you soon, too - it's definitely helped with my Fluid intake today. I was a bit worried yesterday.
