  1. 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes is too much. Total should be 3/8 cup. This is 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoon. You'll feel better. I've done and suffered the same way.... Goodluck Judy
  2. Yes, yes, I've experienced the same problem. I keep milk of mag on hand.
  3. Oh, I understand what you feel. My top weight before even going for my first appointment was 255 lbs. Then by the time I had my first appointment I weighed 247. The day of my surgury (12-8-14, I weighed in at 238. As of today I weighed 229.5. It has been one month Ann. But, I'm hungry and a lot of nausea. And I can't hardly tolerate protein shakes. Thinking about it I want to vomit. I'm having a hard time not eatting food I shouldn't be eatting. I also feel I should be loosing faster, but I restarted my gym membership and I've got to start using it..... Hang in there it's only been 9 days for you and you lost pretty good, already. Judy
  4. I also had a hernia fixed and my nausea is horrible all the time. I hate being nauseated anyway.

  6. Hello everybody, My name is Judy from Manteca, Ca. I had my Gastric Bypass on December 8th,2014. I was in the hospital overnight. I took my pain meds for six days. I'm very swollen. I went and seen my doctor for first time since Surgury after 7 days after surgery. No weight loss. But, he said not to worry it will start coming off and it is starting some. Starting weight 255.....1st .Dr. Appt. 245......surgury weight. 238.....Dr. Appt. after surgury.244..... Dec. 20. 238.5 Yes, I'm getting worried, but I'm planning on starting to go workout after Christmas and I'll see if that helps. I'm just starting purée eatting officially today. The paperwork I have says at meals no more than 1 to 2 oz. I haven't be able to stay that low. I'm not sure way and what to eat. Sorry, this is so long.

  8. Hello, my name is Judy and I'm new to this thread. Dec. 09, 2014 I has my Baractic Gastric Bypass. I'm still recouping and trying to get my 60 oz. Of fluid in, but I get so full. I started my protein drinks today and now I'm so bloated. I'm so glad I found this tread.
