It's good to know about the stretching, I've got a work out ball that I love stretching on, so no problem with that... My salon is a both rental salon, so everyone comes and goes all throughout the day, so I can't depend on any help really.. I guess I'll just do fewer clients on more days if need be..

Thank you so much for response, I was beginning to think I was the only Hair person on here lol.. How was it shampooing your clients afterwards? I really don't wanna take 2 or even 3 weeks off ???? I'm just to busy and am self employed at my own salon, and don't make money unless I work ... I definitely can do a client or two several days a week to ease back into it if necessary..

How far out pre-op are you? I ended up going with another Dr. From the one I listed. I couldn't get my schedule to mesh with his to even get an initial appointment... I went with Dr. Keith Gersin at Carolinas Weight Management. I'm still pre-op so don't know of any nutritionists yet. I'll be using there on staff person and see how it goes. Hopefully I click with the person and make lasting changes.. Good luck finding someone.. Keep me posted please ????

Hi to all ???????? just curious if there are any other Hairstylists out there that had RNY, and how long did you have to stay out of work after surgery? I can be on my feet for 10-12 hrs some days and 4-6 on others... Any help with questions is much appreciated ????✂️

Thanks for video update ???? I noticed when I went to my seminar, that it was all the same info as well. So it sounds like any other class type stuff will be the same!!! I guess it's nice to have it be reinforced in my mind... I sure hope the journey for us both continues smoothly ???????? have a good one ????

I know I'm addicted to food!! And that scares the hell out of me to admit...

I want RNY myself... I want the dumping syndrome to be my constant reminder to not slip... I know I need that...

And yes, trying to not fall into old habits is going to be challenging.. Im definitely making mental notes for all the challenges people are having and hope I can easily navigate those moments..

Good for you on the therapy and how exciting about your up and coming appointment. I'm scared to start the therapy aspect beforehand because of the amount insurance will only cover. I definitely will continue on with therapy afterwards because I know I have an eating disorder. Food has been to much of a friend, happy thing and all kinds of other things to me in my life..

I think for me the first step is knowing that this is an issue and knowing I'm in the process of fixing it, makes me feel there is a light at end of tunnel.
