    Post op surgery on 12/17

I had surgery on the 17th and have moved on to solid foods. What I need is advice on when to schedule eating. I always seem to have a hungry growl and if I let it go to long until I eat, it makes it hard to differentiate between hungry and full. I am having trouble getting all the water and protien in that is required. What I need from someone is a simple food and water plan so I can follow it and achieve the food, water, protein goals I need to achieve for optimal success. Also I dont feel like I have lost a pound everything feels the same, clothes fit wise. Any advice would be wonderful. Just to let you know prior to surgery I had a horrible food and water schedule, as in I never ate or drank until my body said it needed it. I am 4' 11" 225 # pre surgery with a BMI of 40, doctor watched my food and water intake for a year and could not figure out why I am so heavy, and now I have moved on to post surgery and still have intake issues. Please help any advise would be wonderful Thank you.

Thank you all for the reassurance and help. You are right I notice hunger growls and have improved my fluid intake and eat small meals 3 times a day with two snacks. My one issue is the morning I wake up famished, I am sure that will fix itself in time. I have no scale so I dont know what weight I have lost. Hoping for a good number on friday when I buy a scale excited about this journey

    Pre Surgery

Hi guy, after tonight we have just one day left. The liquid diet is horrible, I wish I could have all that yummy stuff you talk about. My dietitian wanted me to only have 6 slimfasts a day with a tablespoon of protien powder per shake. I am weak, headachy and anxious I dont know if I can get through one more day. So miserable. But I am pushing foward going to try and sleep as much as I can get away with tomorrow to make it go fast lol. Good luck guys

Appeal, I am approved I am 4'11" 225# with a BMI of 40 and no co morbs and I fought with my company also. I did a whole graph thing of future cost to them when I get diabetes and heart disease and heart surgery and ICU costs, in the end they saw the 50 thousand now was better for both of us. So appeal and get doctors and nutritionists to back you dont give up took me a year but I won surgery date next wednesday the 17th
