Depression is no joke... I'm so sorry!! Do you have someone to talk to? Maybe even a support group with other people who've been through surgery in your area? Especially since we can no longer go to the things that used to make us "happy" (i.e. eating) finding emotional support and new things to enjoy are so important!! Hang in there!!!

I was sleeved dec 2 and am down 63 lbs.
I was given the go ahead to eat and consistently now. Fruits and veggies!
I am struggling Though. Nothing bothers my sleeve, not one dang thing! I wish something did. I eat apples with the skin. Sweet potatoes with skin. No pains or anything. It's good , but bad ya know? I ate Peanut Butter for the first time and wanted it to not agree with me, but it did
I am really in a not so good spot right now, it's not even 3 months
    Depression, I'm sure of it

question for the ladies, men disregard.

Have any of you experienced excruciating menstrual cramps after the sleeve on the first day of your period? This has only happened to me once before (pre-sleeve) and the pain was gone the following day. I am praying this is the case today as well. I will be calling the dr. tomorrow

Yes I have. I have been given very vague instructions on the puréed section. I know everything about protein and fluids, that's a given... But I'm moving on to eating. I just feel like no one understands. I'm not talking about liquids. I'm talking about moving on to actually eating puréed foods. My instructions were so vague, so essentially my question is what does everyone else eat? How do people come up with recipes and things of that sort? Do they just throw whatever in a blender? I've gotten like 3 recipes. I'm in college and don't have many options.
