I feel you i just told a few close family members and my husband of course about my journey but now im 10 days post op and i swear the whole world knows! Which i so didn't want but because I had a really big scare after surgery everyone called everyone and now all kinds of stupid rumors are being told and spread

bryan can we eat chicken wings??? Cause I would love to have a few wings they were my favorite before surgery am craving them like crazy

I feel you cause I've been going sime of the same thoughts! And am also just a week out, so i hoping and praying it gets better. I'm sure that when I start to see the weight come off i might not focus on food as much anymore. Best of luck let's stay connected

Hey so im a week post opp and I'm not physically hungry at all it's actually kind of hard for me to even have oatmeal or cream of wheat. I really can only tolerate water and soy milk. But I'm struggling with head Hunger i find myself thinking about food! Especially some foods i know i won't be able to have in the future. Has anybody else gone through something similar and does it get better?

Funny thing I've never heard that. Also i was watching the food network and my family freaked out and told me to stop watching it cause it would be like torturing myself

Thanks for the reply im only in my first week post opp but i feel like it's been forever cause i was on optifast for 3 weeks prior to surgery. And like i said I'm not physically hungry, and I've gotten some yummy yogurts too but i think my issue is with savory food as i feel like I've been having sweet things for a month now and would love something with salt lol but today i found i tomato soup that went well with me and kinda helped the savory need.

Hey thanks I'm home now and honestly have been doing sooo much better. I've been home for 3 days and so far so good. I also had an increased heart rate even when i was discharged.

Hey everyone just joined the group and am excited to be here! I had gastric bypass on monday and will hopefully be released from the hospital today. I've had to stay longer as i had complications on day one and 2 post opp. I had some pooled blood that only wanted to come up one way trough my mouth! I was vomitting blood for the first 2 days and it was scary! On day 2 surgeons went in to see if it was a leak of some sort, but thankfully it was just left over blood from surgery that my body hadn't absorbed. They sucked out most of it and i have been doing better! Can't wait to go home and take thing by the horns! Anybody else go through something similar post opp?

Hey im from the dominican and have heard of a lot of great surgeons down there for plastics. So just make sure you do a lot alot of research and you aren't getting ripped off. Also if you have no babies and are planning to have them.then don't get plastic surgery yet! Big no no cause it will be pointless and the adverse affects could be worse
