I wish someone had told me about the Premier Protein shakes before I bought the nasty and expensive powder mix from doctor's office. The Premier Shakes tasted so much better to me. Still drink them today and I am 16 mos post-op and down 110 lbs. Also I get my calcium chews and Probiotic from costco - much cheaper. The Bariatric Vitamins were not much cheaper online unfortunately. Best of Luck, hope it all works out.

@@lisamarie61 Did you get a hiatal hernia repair when you were sleeved? I did and was told I would not be able to vomit either. I am almost 8 mos post op and luckily have not had to deal with a stomach virus yet but know I eventually will. Was wondering what would happen when it finally hits me and it sounds like I will have nauseau from hell.

I am on day 4 post op. Today the pain pump was removed at post op doctor visit. Had very little to no pain. All of a sudden this evening the pain sets in on large incision site. Worst pain I have experienced thus far post op. Holding small pillow against body for support. I know doc said that is where stomach was removed but never expected this extreme soreness to set in. Cannot lay in bed hurts to bad to try and get up because using those stomach muscles. Pain pills -taking 2 hardly touches it. Has anyone experienced this?
