  1.    ProudGrammy reacted to a post in a topic: Gastric Sleeve almost 4 years out
  2. Thank you @ proudgrammy for the comments. But I wasn't forcing or trying to vomit I was just saying that ever since I had the sleeve I have not been able to throw up when I am ill with the flu or stomach things, I know what upsets me and what doesn't so it's all good there. Just the other night I must have had a 24 hour bug and nothing would come up as much as it wanted to it's being between a rock and a hard place for sure, yuck. Thank you for the welcome! Congrats to you as well on your weight loss this journey has an up and own ride but I wouldn't change a thing about it. I love my tool and how it works.
  3. Hello all I am new to this site I was on another WL sit a few years ago, anyway I have a question does anyone else have issues with NOT being able to vomit when ill? I have not vomited since before my surgery in Oct 2011. Of course I had the issues when learning to cope with my new tool i.e., smaller stomach and would feel like I had to throw up but that was not like the feeling I have now when I am sick with the flu or just a bad reaction a food, I get so very nauseous and I know vomiting would be the only thing to give me relief yet I cannot, it's just dry heaves and I feel so sick I pray for death!!! Just kidding but you know that feeling when ill like that, so I wanted to check with real patients not just websites about Gastric Sleeve. All replies will be greatly appreciated!!! A fellow sleever 2011
