Never heard of Gravol...I'm in Australia I'll check with my local pharmacy to see if we have anything similar available.

    Throwing up food too fast

Yeah. I'm paranoid of getting gastro, I'm a crazy hand cleaner / sanitizer person anyway but the idea of catching gastro and vomiting non stop really freaks me out! Probably unwarranted, but what do you do in that situation?

    doubts?

Omg yes! I'm 3 days post op and today is the first time I didn't wake up feeling like 'what the hell did I do?!' I'm sore and tired and gassy still but reading all the stories and advice on here really makes things easier ???? However, heading up to Christmas now, I'm kind of freaked out! The advice on Soup is good, I'll definitely be using that as my go to meal when out. But the social aspect of eating and the comfort of food is something that scares me, that I'll miss it. Or that ppl will be all judgey - only my immediate family know, the rest know that I had a procedure but don't know what. Excited for the results but scared of the journey.

    I have a Question

Yeah I've got the same issue, been told is swelling from being fresh post op.

    Being bloated

I had surgery on the 16th, I walked out if hospital on the evening of the 17th like I was 6 months pregnant! Today, it's better but still swollen and gassy. Any idea how long that takes to go away!? I'm on Panamax Elixir double strength for pain during the day, Pain Stop at night and am still on Mobic in the mornings. I am walking around the house, but am a bit tighter as Dr repaired a hiatus hernia as well (I had no idea I had it).

    Bmi borderline

After consultations with a few really well respected Dr's, I ended up going with the one that I felt safest with - he was actually my GP's preferred too. I ended up having gastric banding 3 days ago rather than the sleeve, Dr ran through stats and explained the pros and cons of both - I liked the reversibility and the fact a lot more of these procedures have been done so it's a bit more of a predictable path. Good luck to you guys, I'll head over to the banding section now to find my feet!

    Bmi borderline

Haven't had it it. I've had consultations with a few Dr's just to see who I feel most comfortable with. I'm trying to decide between Prof Lord at St Vinnies Private and a couple of others.
