  1. Peacheeie- my story is just like your. My starting weight was 207 had a revision do to band failure and also diabetes. I have gotten down as far at 185. I started working out the lasts 3 weeks and I'm up to 188. Calories are set To 800 by me. Dr states not to count calories, eat three meals and stay away from carbs. I can eat more then 4 oz, wonder if I stretched my sleeve. Dr and RNP says my weightloss will be slow because of the band.

  2. Finally someone else having the surgery on the same day. Sure we can be sleeve buddies. I'm having my surgery in Kirkland Wa.

I know I have a great surgeon. He did my wife's sleeve, and gall bladder. I'm still scared.

I start my clear liquid diet tomorrow. I get to include Protein shakes I belive 6th rams of Protein a day.

Good luck too you also. If you have any question ask away if I can't answer them I know my wife can.

  3. It is set!! Revision in 12 days. I had my final consult yesterday, ready to get this show on the road.

I start my clear liquid diet tomorrow for 11 day so I can shrink my fatty liver. I didn't know he was over weight ?

I'm ready for it, but really scared of passing away during surgery. SCARED.

On top of that I found out I have the pre stages of barret esophagus issues after my endoscopy. Then put H.Pilory in the mix.

Baby steps one thing at a time.

  4. I have BC/BS and approved the first try. I think you should be good to go. I was taken back, by what your psychologist said. I think family support is a big thing. Your family should be proud of you for taking the next step to being healthy and be around for along time.

Even though I'm at 33% bf my diabetes is out of control, that's one of the main reasons to get the surgery,

Hang in there, think positive, think about the new you.
