How do I start eating beans?

I guess I should have said I'm not a meat eater but thank you.
  5. Hi, all! I really want to know how to start eating beans - good, easy recipes? I have just never had beans but really want to start but don't even know where to begin. Any help would be much appreciated.
  6. So do you think I can go to any registered dietician and they'll be able to work with me?
  7. Thank you everyone. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I usually figure this is the way it is but for some reason, today I'm a little down about it. Thanks so much.
  8. Hi. I'm new here. I had my sleeve the beginning of December. My weight at the time of surgery was 262. Here I am 2-1/2 months out and I've only lost 36 pounds. I went to the support meeting and the nut said I should be losing faster and told me we'll talk at my next appointment -- the end of next month! It's close to impossible to get an appointment. I would like to correct whatever I'm doing wrong before that. I am looking around for a bariatric nut but that's not going well either. In a typical day I will have a yogurt with GENEPRO, cottage cheese, a Syntrax nectar drink, and a shake. I always go over 60g of Protein and a minimum of 50 ounces of Water. I have been exercising 30 minutes a day and I switch it around, even doing the steepest incline on the treadmill. I do not eat meat. I haven't cheated on any kind of food I'm not supposed to have. If anyone can tell what I'm doing wrong, I'd be so thankful.
