  1. mae7365 I went to my first post op bariatric support group last night and found my surgery sole mate. We had surgery one day apart, 4 weeks ago tomorrow. I was happy to hear that I am not alone with my less than perfect post op recovery. I spent two days hospitalized last week for severe nause, vomiting, dehydration and dangerously low potassium levels. I'm still struggling with food and vomiting, but at least I know what to look for to make sure I don't get that sick again. The dietician assured me I'd feel much better by next months meeting. I look forward to it since I've felt pretty crappy the past couple weeks. I guess I wasn't prepared for the learning curve associated with eating following surgery.
