  1. thats good to hear. I knew about the surgery weight gain. I actually gained 14 lbs during surgery. 1 week out and I lost that 14 plus 6 but haven't lost anything since. I guess that is normal from what I am hearing today.
  2. i was taking blood pressure meds ( from my primary) however immediatley after surgery I was good without meds 120/80, they monitored it while I was in the hospital and told me to not take meds anymore. Almost 2 weekks out and it is still 120/80 without meds.
  3. I am 8 days out. My Surgeon gave me a great binder which clearly outlines what is allowed and when you can introduce it. Liquids for 2 1/2 weeks, which include shakes, yogurt, sugar free jello & pudding as well as no sugar added apple sauce and any soup broth including tomato soup. It hasn't been so bad. But I see where you miss the chewing part, I do also.
  4. I also tried it today. I made a smoothie with PB2, Dannon Banana Cream Greek Yogurt and Soy Milk. It was yummy and worth 25 Protien
  5. I had my surgery on Monday. Very little pain, mostly gas discomfort. The more you walk the better it will be for you. Focus on taking in as many liquids as you can. Good luck
