  1. I have lost 29lbs since dec 19. I'm tracking food, drinking enough Water and exercising at the gym 3 or 4 days a week and walk everyday for 30 minutes. I know I should be doing more, but with the hours I work, that's all I can fit in until my project is over in June. my hope is slow and steady will be better for my body.

  10. You can loose weight, you can't fix stupid
  11. I had glue and had an allergic reaction. never had anything itch so bad in my life, red bumps and itchy. had to get a zpac even though steroids are not recommended

  13. I had no idea that I had such severe sleep apnea. I thought I was so tired because of my weight. but I was tired because I stopped breathing around 40 times each hour. For the past 7 weeks I have slept and I feel really good. My surgeon requires all patients to have the test and it is one of the many blessings of my life that I had the sleep study.
  14. My husband had the same issue with HBP meds and while the cough got better after about 6 months or so, he still has an annoying non-productive cough. He has not had any WLS. He takes photonics too. Sorry to not give you any better news. He has been told he has COPD, and then specialist said not COPD and could not give any other reason for the cough. His cough is worse at night.
  15.    BLERDgirl reacted to a post in a topic: Weight loss after sleeve?
  16. I had my sleeve on 12-19 and I have lost ZERO after week 1. so tracking food, liquids and Protein has not made any difference. I walk the dogs everyday and do stationary bike 20 minutes each day. I am going tomorrow to join a gym and get a trainer now that I am 4 weeks out from surgery. it is really hard to eat so little and have no changes. I am staying away from the scale and using sparkpeople website to track food, exercise and measurements. I guess the difference in having a diet that does not work and the sleeve is that I can't quit the sleeve.
  17. I was feeling really frumpy, I work from home and rarely wear makeup. after my surgery my face looked slimmer so I went and got a haircut. man, what a difference. I have been putting on a little makeup and wearing a size smaller jeans..the haircut really made me feel better.
  18. I hate to cook, but I found I wanted something better than canned Soups. I have gotten several recipes from the world according to Eggface, as well as from searching on Pinterest. Since I am starting a new way of life, I might as well cook. And yes, I consider scrambling an egg is cooking to me!
  19. I got the sleeve because I liked the idea of grehlin hormone level being drastically reduced. I wanted something permanent. I started with a lower BMI than most and based on my research, the sleeve seemed the best fit for me..
  20. Please continue to post you progress, such a pleasure to hear your positive message. I am curious about where, when you have low confidence?
  21. I drink the same way and thought, should I be able to do this? But if it doesn't hurt, it must be ok
  22.    tart reacted to a post in a topic: I'm kinda disappointed
  23. I had little to no pain unless I sneezed! I think pain is different for everyone. But if you get up and walk as soon as you can it will go easier for you. the worst part after surgery was I could not drink anything until they did an upper GI to make sure my tummy had no leaks.
  24. I only tried mixed berry so far. I don't really like them at all, but easier to drink them right now. Protein shakes are hard to finish and for some reason I don't like to drink them after they sit in fridge. I know most folks sip on a shake all day...... but I don't want too.
  25. I hate to be cheap, because logically if isopure has so much more Protein they should cost more. Unfortunately, my limited budget dictates the cheaper choice.
