  1. Anne you can do this! I too have let myself get too hungry and the second I realize that I am eating too fast, I stop, put my food down and I don't pick it back up until I have some mental control over myself. I have even stopped and went for a quick walk until I could get a handle on myself. Once I have calmed down, I sit back down and proceed to eat very small slow bites. I keep a baby spoon up here at work to eat with. Everybody thinks I am weird, but I don't care this is for me. I am always here if you need to chat. We are all in this together on this individual journey of ours. :-) huggs. k

  8. I hope everything goes smoothly for you on the 11th Francesca and may you heal very quickly! huuugs
  9. I am almost positive I heard Dr. Benivedes in Richardson talk about a cash option. I haven't heard of any doctors turning anybody away yet, but I could be wrong.
  10. *Chants* Go Jon, go Jon, go Jon!
  11. It will be a piece of cake...relax!
  12. I am a 46 and pretty much agree with the assessment. :-)
  13. I was banded by Dr. B as well in Richardson. Preop and Post op is hard, but it gives your liver time to shrink and your band time to heal. You will get through it.
  14. You guys are doing awesome!!! Keep up the fantastic work!
  15. Thanks Penni, here is thread to my scar picture that I would love to have reduced. :-) http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=6117&page=7&pp=15
  16. Hi Sunta, I was banded on 9/23 and I have had no problems with my band at all. That is not to say that I won't in the future. I eat anything that I want right now because I have a VG band and have had only one fill so far. Again, I am sure that will all change once I have some restriction in my band. Just have to relax and take it one day at a time. :-)
  17. Penni, do you have photo editor software that you use or is it a website. I have a pic on the scar stage picture link and I just want it reduced to a normal size. If you have a link or something will you let me know, I hate to bug you when you already help so many people out. Thanks
  18. I won't be able to make it physically, but will be there in spirit...huggs to you all.
  19. You go Baron!!! Never, ever give up until you get what you want.
  20. Welcome to LBT, Amy.
