  10. LOL...too funny Lisa, even after I had read everybodies post...I still fell for it.
  11. Ok, since this is a free for all thread and I am bored out of my skull here at work, I will tell ya'll something that happened here at work that only a bandster can appreciate. About a week and a 1/2 ago I was still having issues with bad gas. I got up from my desk and realized I had better get to the bathroom quick, the rumblings has begun. I made it to the stall and was seated on the toilets and I started farting and it went on and an on. There was a lady in the next stall and then I started thinking about what she was thinking of what the heck I had consumed and she got the hell out of there...but prior to her leaving I got tickled at what I must sound like and I started giggling and with me the more the laugh..the more I tend to fart..so that just made it worse...lol...I busted out laughing when I knew that she had left, but I had been farting this whole time. It probably lasted for about 45 seconds..but it felt like 5 mins has passed. My old boss came by as I was coming out of the bathroom still laughing...she wanted to know what was so funny...I just played it off like someone had told me a joke in the bathroom and went on.
  12. Sorry to hear that Melissa, but good to hear that you are not giving up, just going to do what you need to do to get to the banded side with a postive attitude to boot! Keep it up!
  13. Kim, I had my surgery at Surgery Center of R as well. Will have my first fill there on Monday. I hope it all goes smoothly. Probably take me awhile to feel restriction since I have a VG band, but I will get there one pound at a time. Dr. Benavides was my doctor.
  14. Lisa, just look at all those cans of pretty poison just sitting there just waiting to take some innocent band out with it's poison...fight it...fight that demon!! lol..ok i have too much time on my hands at work! best of luck lisa on your soda fight...may you can get a big tablecloth and cover up those darn cokes. Just tell the lawyers you felt the urge to redecorate!

Can you still drink coffee? I do but usually just one small cup, but I know there are alot of bandsters on here who drink several cups....oh wait was that booze...i forget...lol I am just teasing everybody. 3. How do you all get those neat ticker tapes at the bottom of the screen? do a search of the forum with a keyword of tracker and you will get tons of info on how to do tickers.
  18. When i was on my clear liquid phase, I was only getting between 500 and 600 calories a day and initially I lost weight, but it came to a stand still. Then I went to my creamy liquids and was getting between 600 to 800 still no loss, then when i upped to 900 to just under a 1000 my weight loss has started again...and eventually I will work up to 1200 to see how I do. I also this week started walking everyday.
  19. Sounds yummy! Thanks Eileen.
  20. I have UH as well and was approved in about two weeks. I had been told twice by two different Drs offices that UH was the easiest to get approved by.
  21. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
