  1. I only take vitamins D. Which is a small pill and my stomach can handle. I do watch what I eat, with lupus and ra, my body hurts too much to exercise. But I do go out and walk.
  2. I had the sleeve surgery 4 years ago. I lost 118 pounds. But, I’ve since gained 30 back. Has anyone had a sleeve modification? I have horrible out of control GERD and I take many different kind of medication with no relief.
  3. I should get more exercise daily as well. I haven't gained any weight. But I haven't lost any either. Maybe I should start again with the Protein shakes. I'm just curious to see what everyone has gone through post surgery and more weight loss. Does it depend on how much weight one started with? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I had sleeve surgery October of 2014. I was at 308 at my heaviest. I lost 113 pounds so far. I still have about 40 pounds to lose. I am so damn hungry all the time, it's like I never got the surgery. At least it doesn't feel the same, I don't get fool soon, like I use to. I'm so irritated because just in 4 months it will be my 2 year mark. What can I do? Has anyone else gone through this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. They have raps for that too?
  6. Nausea for days or weeks is normal. Everyone is different. I was not only nauseous, but also experienced dehydration due to vomiting so much, and not because I was overeating. I actually am still going through baby steps incorporating food, here and there and it's been 9 months post surgery. You'll get better soon!
  7. Had sleeve surgery Oct 2014 and I've lost 100 pounds. Question is what to do to get ride of the saggy neck that's left behind from a double chin! It's really frustrating!!! Any suggestions?
  8. I'm definitely slowing down now... And thank you! It feels great! After the surgery I had an issue with my gallbladder and they had to go back in a remove it. I was in and out of the hospital since last October. I'm feeling much better now! ☺️
  9. Thank you so much for the info. I'll check it out
  10. I only give myself shots of vitamin B12 per my rheumatologist and vitamin D, but that's all. I haven't found the one multivitamin that will go well with my stomach. I'm still not eating that well. But I'll try, I guess to get a chewable multivitamin, and we'll see if it works Thanks
  11. Oh okay, I'll check it out! Thanks
  12. I'm not one to compare myself to others. I'm simply asking if it's typical to lose the amount of weight I've lost in the months post surgery. We're all different and I'm really happy with the amount of weight I've lost so far. The surgeon had told me that for the sleeve, people get to their weight loss goal by the 2 year mark. I think I'm doing really well, considering I only have 50 more pounds to go for my goal. We should all be proud of ourselves. My worry really is more, I think, that I still can't really eat complete meals. I doubt I'm getting enough nutrients. That's probably why, my hair is falling out too
  13. I'm currently using Nioxin Shampoo and Conditioner by Fantastic Sams...but it's so expensive!
  14. Thanks! I really still can't eat too much even after all this time....maybe protein will help me a little.
  15. I'm 7 months post op and my hair is still falling out. I take Biotin and then bought a shampoo with Biotin as the main ingredient, but doesn't seem to really help. I've had a blood panel done already and my vitamin D is much better than what is was even before the surgery and I'm also on vitamin B12 shots every month. Everything else seems to be good, health wise. Any suggestions to regrow my hair or stop the falling out and becoming bald?
  16. I'm just shy of 7 months post op. I've lost so far 95 pounds. Am I on track or should I have lost more by now?
  17. When should I start exercising post surgery? I'm 3 months since the sleeve, but I still feel without any strength or energy. I just don't want to hurt myself
  18. I just called my Dr and left a message. They did labs last week, but haven't called me with any results yet.
  19. It's happened to me too and I'm 3 months post op. I had surgery in Oct and I've only had 1 period since then. It's normal, unless you're experiencing something else. It's all do to rapid weigh loss.
  20. I'm 3 months post op and still trying to keep food down. Lately I've been having a sensation of numbness on my legs. Not completely numb, but theres something off and idk what it is. I've been critically low on potassium at times and have taken supplements for it. Could it be from the potassium that I'm feeling this way? Anyone else experience this?
