Anyone weight differ from first thing in morning to late afternoon or night? My weight is 6-10lbs different.
probably Water retention - may want to look at salt intake if you retain a lot. mine fluctuates 2-3 lbs. Ten pounds seems like a lot unless you are weighing in your birthday after your first trip to the bathroom and your other weigh-ins are fully dressed with shoes and after you have ate and drank water.

Why the sleeve?
I chose the sleeve because I didn't want my stomach re-routed. Reduced down was okay for me. I also am very happy with my new friend (7 weeks plus post-op). I am trying to lose around 100lbs. My goal reads 150 but that's a "dream" goal. 165-170 is the range I am shooting for once I get past 200. There are side effects that you need to think about ex: GERD. I made the decision that was best for me. good luck!

Sleeved Wednesday...questions
its easier to elevate the headboard than just your body esp if you sleep on your side. I hugged a pillow to lay back on the bed. I did recovery in a 25' RV because I was waiting for the completion of my modular home. getting up was awkward but laying back was more painful. Hubby would lay me back or I would lay to my side then roll to my back

Question for post-opers
I was told the purpose was to shrink a potentially fatty liver so that the sleeve surgery would go through without a glitch. The NUT & surgical nurse told us that the surgery could be stopped if the liver is too fatty. I didn't want to risk it so I stayed pretty true to the diet. How long is your pre-op diet? Are you required to lose a specific amount?

Surgery is 11 days away

Stage 2 diet / full liquids & pureed food
SF pudding or SF Jello (yuck). strained FF (low sodium) soups. I loved broccoli & cheese. SF applesauce scrambled eggs (craved them) refried Beans & avocado I was pretty lucky my sleeve has been kind to me...if I could blend it (had no seeds) to mush and it met the criteria for LF, FF, SF, etc I tried it....

Stomach growling
prevacid or something similar

I was approved!
start hydrating as much as possible and if you can get on path to prepping for the pre-op diet if needed. some doctors require a certain amount of weight loss. some insurances will deny if you lose too much - check into that
