  2. Wow want a wonderful video. Very encouraging.
  3. My surgery was 2/26/2015. DOS 261 CW 237. This has been the best thing I could have ever done. I walk everyday at work (enlisted my co-workers) and every night I walk or ride my bicycle since the weather is so nice. I did not have any issues in my recovery and have not felt this good in years. I eat about 500-600 calories a day and slowly working up to 60 gm Protein. I am just amazed at how full I am after eating 1 oz of protein and I have had none of my old cravings or uncontrollable eating periods.

  5. I have a Nutri Ninja IQ and I love it. Works great.
  6. I am 3 weeks out and I basically eat for the nutrition. Really not wanting to eat anything. But you need something so try. Good luck.
  7. I was sleeved February 26 and I feel really good right now. It is hard to get the water in and I am slowly increasing my protein. I have one week and then I can start on solid protein. Can't wait. I would love to join the Facebook page and I will pm my information. Good luck to everyone.
  8. Mine was on and off until about 5 days post op. Also mine was a dull pain with the occasional sharp pain thrown it.
  9. You are an inspiration for sure. I am 5 days post op and hope to have as great a success. Keep it up
  10. From prep to recovery room it was 2 hours. My husband said the dr came out after 30 mins.

  14. Had my sleeve surgery today. Everything went great and except for the first 3 hours after the pain has been very low. I am now ready for the next phase. Good luck to those who just had or getting ready to have their surgeries.
  15. This is my second day of pre-op diet. I started weening off coffee months ago so have no problems with that but tonight I am wanting to snack sooooo badly. I just gave to keep telling myself I can do it.
  16. I started my liquid diet today. Thank goodness I only have to be on it a week. Jello has never sounded or tasted so good. Surgery is 2/26 and I am ready.
  17. My surgery is 2/26 and I am beginning to wonder if there is something wrong with me. I keep reading about everyone being scared but I don't feel that I just feel ready and relief that I am doing it. I have spent 30 years going up and down that I just need to stop the cycle. Good luck to all of you.
  18. I am exactly 2 weeks away from my surgery date (2/26/2015). I had my pre-op appointment with the Doctor 2/9 (my birthday) and I was initial told I would have to do a pre-op diet for 2 weeks but he told me not to start that until the 19th. I think I can handle that. I am soooooo ready to get started on my way new of life. Even though I have been making changes these last 7 months I am ready to start on the other side. Good luck to all of you that have had or are getting ready to have their surgery.
  19. I am a newbie driving back and forth from Wichita to KC. Dr Hoehn is my dr. I just had my 3rd appt with dietician so I am getting closer and more anxious. Those of you from Wichita do you go to support groups in Wichita or do you drive to KC?
