  1. Congratulations!! That is awesome! I am working hard towards that goal now. As of today I am 211. I cannot wait to hit 199!!
  2. I had stalls at weeks 3, 6, and 10. My doctor explained it to me in medical terms. From what I gathered it is do to the shock our body is going through. It is completely normal. Keep doing what you ate doing and your body will catch up. I promise! My HW was 316 SW 312 PreOp 279 CW 211. January 30th will be 6 months since my surgery. You are doing great! Stay focused!!

    Protein

Unjury is pretty good! I ordered the chicken broth and had that a lot during my liquid phase. Also, syntrax makes an unflavored powder that dissolves nicely. I still use that for somethings! My doctor's office sells it, but it is also on Amazon. I believe it is $18 for the container. Definitely came in handy when I started the pureed stage.

    Loose skin

I agree with everyone above. Hydration, toning, vitamins, protein, and I also use Jergen's Skin Firming lotion. It has really helped my arms and thighs! It is worth a shot. I found it at Walmart. ????

    Cry cry cry

I am almost 6 months post op and I cried on and off for the first 2 weeks after surgery. I went through so many emotions! I was angry at myself for letting myself get so heavy, I was sad because I had to give up certain foods, I was happy I made this decision, so on and so on. Everything you are feeling is normal! It gets better, I promise! Keep your head up and stay focused. You are doing great! ????

    6 days PRE OP!

Yay! So exciting! I would not buy a while lot just yet. Your taste buds may change after surgery. Mine did and now I have a cabinet full of stuff that you couldn't pay me enough to drink! I took a hot bubble bath the night before. It was so relaxing! I felt refreshed the next morning. You will do great! Keeping thinking positive thoughts! Also, be sure to walk after surgery. This will help with your recovery. I got up to walk about 2 hours after surgery. Walk walk walk!! Sending you good vibes!!!

    Post surgery

I experienced this as well after my surgery. Keep doing your breathing exercises and walk walk walk! It helps the pain go away. Sometimes it is a gas bubble and moving helps relieve it. It will get better!
  9. I had the am thoughts before my surgery! I was sleeved on 7/31 and lost 37lbs on the pre op diet. The day before my surgery I contemplated backing out. I thought I had things under control. I lost almost 40lbs by myself. Then I realized that I did not lose it on my own. I had assistance from my surgeon and my NUT. I was making excuses in my head to not go through with it. I was a food addict. I loved to eat. I decided to go through with it and I am so thankful I did! I have lost a total of 88lbs and I am the smallest I have ever been in my adult life. My weight when I began this journey was 316lbs and today I weigh 228lbs. I feel amazing! Stay positive! View this as a tool to help you continue the journey. I have absolutely no regrets!
  10. @@Onephatmom Keep your head up. It will be ok. Liquids was the worst for me. I had a hard time getting through each day. I did it though because I kept my eyes on the prize! ???? You will be in the mushy phase before you know it!

    How's my calories?

RozzieJ- I hope you don't mind if I give you my input. I hit that dreaded stall at week 3 and it lasted about 3 weeks. Just stick to your program. Make sure you get your fluids and Protein in each day. The scale will move again. It is extremely frustrating, but it will be worth it. Our bodies go through shock. I am almost 4 months post op and I have had a few stalls. What has helped me is to just keep going. We are creating healthier habits. I am not sure if this helped. ????
  12. Your feeling are definitely normal! I am 3 1/2 months post op and I feel great! The first 5-6 days I questioned it. I asked myself why, but when I went in for my first post op appt and saw the weight loss I knew I was going to be ok. I knew I had made the right decision. Today I am down 83lbs and have gone from a size 24W pant to a size 14 misses. You can do it! Push any negative thoughts or feelings away. Stay positive and stay focused! You are doing great!

    I'm sleeved

Congrats! Don't forget to keep walking and sip sip sip!! You are doing great!!
  15. I have no regrets about being sleeved! This was the best decision I have ever made for myself. I thought about bypass, bit like so many others have said, i didn't want anything rerouted or the other things that come with it. I am a little over 3 months post op and I have lost 82 lbs. it has been slow, but definitely worth it. I have gone from a 24W jeans to a 16 misses in 3 months. This journey has been incredible!
