  1. I'm 4 months post -op and I'm down 54lbs but that includes my pre-op diet of 15lbs
  2. I agree with the posts above. Jealous Heifers!! Keep doing you and stay away from the negativity!!
  3. I would hope and pray he goes laparoscopic. Its safer and yields a faster recovery time.
  4. Zantac , Pepcid Ac or any Antacid tablets daily.
  5. Full liquids - Creamed Soups like chicken, tomato, etc. SF pudding and sherbert ice cream.
  6. Don't get stressed about it. My 4 weeks is coming up and I'm trying to prepare myself for "the stall". We are going to succeed!
  7. I've never had regular bowel movements but since I had the surgery, its slim to none. I haven't used it since Thanksgiving. I think on that day I ate too fast and was actually dumping then.
  8. Do what you can. On Monday, I'll be 4 weeks post op and I still cant get salll my liquid in but everyday, I can drink a little more.
  9. Sounds good. Where can I purchase this from because I'm tired of the chocolate and vanillas?

  11. It does depend on the surgeon but I think its primarily to shrink your liver before surgery.

  13. You can drive as long as you're not on pain medicine. If you're in any pain, just bare with it until after your son's party.

  15. Everybody's recovery time is different. However, I myself along with a lot of people who have posted on this forum, was up and moving independently in a day or so after surgery. There are several apps you can download like Livestrong to help you keep up with the nutritional aspect of this journey. Trust me, you'll be just fine.,
  16. I can see it very clearly! But I do feel like we can be our own worse critics, LOL.. Don't want to give ourselves credit for nothing. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
  17. We had to buy one called Provide Gold liquid Protein. its like 28g of protein in 1oz shot. They taste horrible though.

  19. Bariatric Advantage have some that come in caramel and Peanut Butter w/chocolate. They are very good! These were recommended by my NUT.
