  1. The push to onederland begins again. I'm doing the Tony Garza six week fat loss challenge. If I lose 20 pounds, it's free. If I fall short, it's $350. I'm two years out, and I need a new challenge.

I look froward to hearing about your results. I am still about 20 pounds from my ultimate goal, and like yourself, I am about 2 years out!

I will be reporting back in six weeks. I checked out the diet plan from someone who had done it previously and my only concern is actually eating as much as he wants me too. but it's exciting to have money on the line, and a group dynamic.

I have 2 friends who did his challenge and they rocked it! You will too. Good luck. Keep us posted.

  3. Been doing 30 push ups three times a day. Get's the blood flowing, clears the mind, and getting a little more definition.

I was never able to do push-ups. Even when I was in the service!

Sounds great. If I try pushups, the blood flows, but right into my brain, thereby fogging it up. Blood flows, flood blows.

damn that is a great idea! i dont do a damn thing and am really frustrated with myself. i should do push ups first thing when i get up in the morning. is that too much to ask? NO! good job man!

  4. I eat what I want...but what I want has changed since I began the journey...Penn Teller might say it better though:

  5. Should have written down the spice amounts. Ground turkey chili came out great, not sure if I can replicate it.

http://damndelicious.net/2016/07/13/best-cauliflower-pizza-crust/ This is the recipe I found, first time followed it as written, second time I added a extra egg, and the crust turned out better (held together better, which might be because of the size eggs I have).

      defibvt

Watch out for the motrin.... occasion use is probably okay... hope the healing is happening and your gimpy walk is less noticeable

For me, that is the worse, when there isn't even any 'better choices' to make. I also hate that my friends and neighbors, when they ask if I want to go to eat with them, if I can pick the place... call me Mr Indecisive, I always say, I can always find something to eat. I have gotten sick once since my surgery, felt weak and exhausted, ended up in an ER, they couldn't find anything, other than my blood pressure was low, they ended up giving me 2 liters of IV fluids and I was feeling a little better. Glad to hear you're feeling better... from what I have seen in the ICU, patient's with any bariatric surgery, tend to have less reserve, so once they get sick, they get sicker faster, why I see many in the ICU.

  20. For the last 9 moths I have dated the most incredible woman. It hit me tonight what has been so great. I never feel bad, self conscious nor even guilty about discussing difficult issues. We are both adults who have survived difficult childhoods and marriages...yet grew through them and used the trauma to get stronger. We have not checked out on our kids and remained engaged. I'm really digging this . This makes me happy and very much at peace.

Pirate, you set me up here to make a difficult choice. Do I tease you because you and your sweetie feel like teenagers over the T-shirt thing? Or do I exhale a sigh of relief that it's only T-shirts that you wear before sealing in a plastic bag and handing to her? I knew there was something weird about the water in Oklahoma.

It's just one of those things about her. If it is that easy and it makes her happy, I'm going to do it. After being told so many times "sorry no chemistry" no I have a women who really likes my pheromones, I will do what I can to keep her happy

And I don't live there for a reason, though I would love to. Looking at Florida, no income tax and if you get the right area, they leave you alone.

    3. OKCPirate

      OKCPirate

UCLA man - I just got out of my hot tub. Yep, stark naked. I'm in Oklahoma. I have been sampling some stuff I picked up in CO ;-). And you know what? The people here leave you alone when you are not hurting them. The problem with too many people is they just want to look for a reason to complain. And it sucks that it happens in CA which is the place where no one should ever complain. You can be utterly be out of your mind and it would take years for anyone to figure it out because it is so dang nice to be there. I complimented most of the people who live there, I love the vibe of the place, I just hate the dang over reaching government, lighten up.

Note: I do hate the damn California refugees. I noticed this while doing projects in AZ and NV. There are many California refugees who leave because of costs and taxes. Strangely they move east and start demanding the same expensive services to be paid for by other people in a new state. Umm, how many budgets can you bankrupt? So hopefully Trump builds a wall to our south and along the CA border. ;-) -- And to those who don't know me that is hyperbole (if you don't know what that word means, please Google it, or just don't comment).

I'd live in Cali or right across the border in Mexico if my kiddos weren't in NY. Hoping to move out there once they're a little older.

It was about as perfect as I could stand. Found out more great things about my girlfriend. Watched the best wedding ceremony I have ever seen. They are creating a blended family, so they asked the kids to come up and they wrote special vows to the kids, promising not to show favoritism, nor separate them from their other parent. Very moving, and needed.
