Wonderful news! Keep up the great work!

    Isopure protein shake :(

Me too! I have tried the other Nectars too but the lemon tea is the best. And if it is the thickness of the other Protein shakes, these may be a better option for you. I can't stand the thick shakes.

How do you break the stall?

We all go through them and they will drive you crazy if you keep watching the scale sit at the same weight! I agree with @@Bufflehead and @@Inner Surfer Girl, follow your plan and stay away from the dreaded scale! You will probably see your body change before the scale moves. Stay strong!

    Swallowing capsules

I have been taking Nexium in capsule form since right after surgery. I have also had antibiotics since surgery and have not had a problem taking either of them.

    Rain and heat

This is a good, low impact video that you do indoors. I live in Florida, so I know about rain ruining your walking time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oqf5o2OW3XM

    Gurgling?

My husband and I lay in bed and giggle about the sounds my tummy makes. Sometimes it sounds like an engine rumbling in there! And of course, it will always speak up when I'm in public and it's quiet.

Am I able to eat too much?

Early on, I had very little resistance with liquids. I thought my sleeve was BROKEN! As soon as I started eating in my puree stage, that all changed. I could only get in a tiny amount. I learned to measure out how much I should have and eat until I felt full. You will learn your body quick. Best of luck to you!

Need HI protein low carb ideas

My quickie go to's: Cubed cheese Tuna eggs When I want a little crunch- pork rinds chicken Breasts (I roast a couple in the oven and then use for meals) I got to the point of not liking Protein "shakes" so I went to Syntrax nectar. I usually drink one at some point during the day to break the Water blah! I don't rely on those to get my protein in but when on the go, they are quick to grab and lower carb.

    Stuck

I know this well! I sat at 6 pounds above goal for 38 days....frustrating to say the least. Then one day I lost a pound and the next day another pound. Even though the scale wasn't moving, my body was changing. Keep your head up!

    funny, but serious, female question...lol

I was "smaller" in the boob department....now they are flat as pancakes I see plastics in my future!

    Gastric sleeve

Best wishes tomorrow and good luck on your journey!
  18. You are so sweet to simply ask this for him! He is lucky to have you and your mom by his side through this journey. I haven't had any offensive smells since my surgery. I agree with @@Babbs and her post. I made this decision for my own well being and to get healthy. I refuse to force others to change their lives for me and my weight loss goals. I got to my beginning weight eating my old way. And in turn, I have to get to my healthy weight eating my new way. There are temptations and foods to avoid all around us. Support him like you are but don't protect him....he will be out in the world sometime without you and he will have to choose not to eat something on his own. Best of luck to you all!!

    How did you know?

You are doing a great job!! Just remember how far you have come....not how long the journey may be. The scale may be in my favor right this moment but I am still struggling to work through body dysmorphic issues. I can't see the smaller me when I look in the mirror. We each have so many struggles (support from loved ones, stalls, hair loss, saggy skin, etc) and like you said, so many on here understand! It keeps me from pulling out what's left of my already thinned hair

    On the right track ????????

Great job! You can definitely tell the difference!

    Hair loss

Mine was about 3 months of falling out and it slowed down around 4 months. This too shall pass I am just jealous of those that didn't lose any!!!

    How did you know?

I was sleeved in November 2014. I'm 5'6" and I set my goal at 150. I am at 156 and have been for about 4 weeks now. I have been running and exercising more too. My body has changed quite a bit in the past month but the scale is the same. I think it is quite happy here at this weight! But PLEASE remember, everyone is different and everyone loses at different rates. Some are super fast losers and some are slower. Keep the big picture in mind.....you will lose the weight you need to lose at your own pace....stalls and all I wish you the best on your journey!
  23. EEEEEEEK, I bought a pair of size 4 jeans.....and they fit! Love the NSV's!

    How did you know?

My doctor told me I was a walking time bomb and it scared me. I knew my health was getting worse because of co-morbidities (High BP, High Cholesterol, Type II Diabetes) but when she said those words to me, I knew I had to make a change. I can happily say that all of them are now gone and I only take Nexium and my vitamins. Life is much better now!
