  1. I was December 3rd and was also feeling really good, then really tired. Although feeling good led me to do more things which could be the reason I got tired I just moved on to the puréed foods but have mostly been chewing really small bites with soup or gravy and that's going really well. I haven't been nauseous either, which is awesome. The only problems I have so far are taking so many pills, which I can take whole fine, but have to be cut for absorption and when cut they catch in my throat, cold hands and feet (I know it's winter and my hormones will take care of this eventually) and I got thrush in my mouth, but the medicine the doctor gave me is helping a lot. So far so good! I'm down 31 lbs since October 25 so I am feeling great My SW was 255 and my goal weight (which seems super unrealistic) is 121.
  2. One of my worries has always been looking older after surgery, but you look so good! You look so much younger! And adorable
  3. During my years struggling to lose weight I have purchased a few "motivation" pieces to try and help me reach my goals. Looking forward to my surgery date (just 6 weeks!), I pulled a couple of those out tonight, this time actually sure that I will be wearing them soon. Anyone here have an awesome story about fitting into something you were saving for when you finally lost the weight? I would love to see pictures!

    Anyone having surgery in December?

I just got scheduled for December 15th. I've been thinking about it for over 4 years, so to have a date is kind of surreal right now. I've been married 11 years and have two kids. What are you doing to prepare for this? I've been increasing my Protein (shakes in the morning to try and get used to it) and cutting out sugar and fat (my favorites).
