Good luck to you too! I work in Social Services so most of my day is spent in an office as well. I haven't told my boss yet but I plan to when I get my surgery date.
Hi everyone. I should be getting my surgery date soon and the doc said it up to me which surgery do I want. I am leaning strongly toward RNY due to my already existing acid reflux issues.
Anyhow, I am curious how long after your surgery did you return to work? What type of work do you do? Anyone have any complications from returning to work too soon?
I lost close to 100 pounds on phentermine about 7 years ago but after I stopped taking them I gradually gained it all back. I have tried them off and on since but, in my view, they are not an effective long term weight loss solution.
I don't know about Colorado but in Kentucky the Medicaid co-pay varies depending on what category you fall into. However, I believe the maximum out of pocket expense for a Medicaid patient is $225.
I wanted to thank everyone who posted in this topic for their feedback. I am in the very early stages of my journey and am on the fence of RNY vs VSG and reading other posters thoughts has been very helpful.
Hey has anyone here with Kentucky Medicaid had the surgery? Who was your MCO? What was the approval process like? How much did it cost you out of pocket? Thanks in advance.
