And away we go!

5:03am, and I just got up to go to surgery.

It seems like the turnaround from "I think I need to do this" to "oh my god, today is the day" has been lightning quick.

In less than three hours, my surgery will be underway. In less than 6 hours, it will be over.

Nerves (and a grumbly stomach) woke me up at 3:30am, so jitters are there for me right up until the end, I guess.

Anyhow, hopefully I will be able to update tomorrow with a tale of a smooth and successful surgery.
