  1. Okay, so here's my story. I'm 11 months post op VSG. I was sleeved in Mexico as a self pay. I do not have a bariatric doctor to talk to (that's where I need your help)!

Starting about 3 months after my surgery I would wake up in the middle of the night with my mouth filling up with liquid from the back of my mouth near ear/jaw bone. I then find myself running to the bathroom and vomiting acidic liquid but mostly dry heaving because nothing will come up. This repeats through the night.

This has been going on 1/2 x's per month it stopped for about 2 months and has started again. I talked to my PCP and she said I should try sleeping upward at an angle and take an acid reducer before bed. I've done both and am still finding myself waking up in this annoying way!

Can you help, relate?? I'm not sure if I'm flying solo here, if not please let me know what advice you were given!

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I wanted to take a moment to give you all an update on this challenge.

28 people reached goal, 14 people came within 3 lbs of goal, 1 person this week reached goal and Onederland, 1 person this week reached Onederland! @@Kspot42 had the highest % of weight loss with 12.49%!!!! During this challenge we lost a total of 1,139.3 lbs!

Great job to everyone! You all did great!

I know some of us were stuck in a stall but we will get this back and hit our goal at our next challenge! The Easter challenge starts on 2/22 -3/28 please look up a few posts to find the link! Hope to see your name on the next spreadsheet!

  3. This may sound like a stupid question but I'm fairly new here. Can anyone tell me how do I get my name on the spreadsheet for the challenge? Thank you [emoji4]

I got you on. Sorry, I try to update everything on Mondays but I work full time and have a family of 5 to care for so sometimes I may not get to it right away. I always have Thursday's off so everything will be updated by then 4 sure! [emoji4]

  4. I am in, but I have been having issues losing, so then I get discouraged and I don't post. I have been stalled for 3 1/2 months now and I am coming up to my one year anniversary and would like to be at least 60 lbs lighter by then. Can anyone help.

the other thing is that I cannot see my surgeon or ny NUT anylonger do them not being covered by my insurance as of this year.

Right now I am at 195 lbs.

Have you tried going to a liquid diet to try and re jump start your weight loss?? I've seen lots of post on here about a re start.

  5. I'm in also. I love these challenges!!!

Thanks for doing this Sarah!! I absolutely LOVE these challenges and I think they are one of the best and most motivational things about this site!!

My goal is going to be 274.8. Thanks!!

You are so welcome! They really help me as well! I just wish my body would start dropping the lbs again!!!!

  6. How will be getting notifications?

If you set your account to receive notifications then you will receive them when other people post on the same thread you post on. If you have not set your account up to receive notifications then you will just need to remember to post your starting and goal weight on 2/22 and just update your weight every Monday after that until 3/28. Then we will start another challenge. If you want to join please let me know and I'll add you to the spreadsheet! [emoji4]

  7. This challenge will start on Monday 2/22 and end Monday 3/28. Please follow the link below to find the next challenge and join. Please fell free to post your goal weight by 2/22. Ill update as I get new players!

    Have a great night!
