12 days post op...still full of regret. I can not wait until I feel like myself again. I have never been so negative about something in my life. The only reason I can come up with is my food addiction.

Everyone recovers differently, I had lap band and recovered quickly . I didn't have gastric bypass like you did, maybe the recovery time is longer ? Anyone have any advice ? I was banded mid Dec 2011, made it through the holidays just fine. We're all "food addicted", otherwise we wouldn't be here. You CAN do this , just give it time , Good luck !
