    Where are the November Sleevers?

Our book said 3 weeks but my surgeon said it was up to me and when I felt comfortable and able to tolerate pain. I had no troubles 1 week out.

    Where are the November Sleevers?

Sleeved Nov 13. No complications until trying to advance my diet post op week 1 to 2. Have been vomiting quite a bit since (so for 10 days). Had to get IV fluids earlier this week. Hardly able to eat or drink. Do ok on clears but not much else (not even Protein drinks). Dr is aware. Going to call again tomorrow. Sigh. It's been hard. I'm praying this is something I'll look back on in 3 months and say it was worth it or no regrets. Right now I'm just sick and sad. The plan was to go back to work today...but I'm taking a couple more weeks off.

    Low BMI and Gastric Sleeve

I've had a lot of people say the same to me. It's frustrating because they don't understand. I started at 42.2 but during my 6 month preop, I lost 43 lbs and am now a 38.4 bmi. I've been asked by several if I won't do surgery now. I still have 90-100 lbs to go! I've made it this far...I'm not backing out now!
  4. I'm on day 10. Staying strong but today was rough. If I'm able to stay on top of my shakes, like at home, then have no troubles. Today at work I left my soy milk out and didn't drink enough shakes. By the time I got home, I was ready to bust into the quick unhealthy freezer meals. But I made some broth and a shake instead. This liquid diet (which is 99% sweet) is for the birds!!!

    Where are the November Sleevers?

Congrats!! Did you take 2 weeks off? Do you feel ready to go back to work? I am taking 2 weeks but my surgeons office just told me 2-4 depending on how I feel. I don't get paid time off so I want to return ASAP but I don't want to be unrealistic either!

    Where are the November Sleevers?

I would call the doctors office and find out for sure. Insurance approval was half the battle for me. My surgeon wouldn't set a date until insurance approved.
