  1. I would not have been ready. I went back just before 2 weeks to a desk job and that was tough enough. Although, I was very dehydrated and needed to go in for fluids that first week back to work.
  2. I lost 14 pounds in the first 1 1/2 weeks after surgery. Then I stalled until week 4 1/2. I lost tons of inches during that time. My stall finally broke today. It is common to stall. You're body is going through a huge change.
  3. I don't even move to meat until I am 10 weeks!
  4. I have a Blendtec. It's on the expensive side but I love how it can take fresh veggies and turn it into juice.
  5. I have UHC and I found out before my doctor's office did. I got a letter in the mail saying I was approved about 1 1/2 weeks after it was submitted.

    POST OP DRAIN

I had mine for 3 days in the hospital. Didn't bother me a bit and came out without me realizing the nurse had pulled it out.

    February sleevers

I have been struggling emotionally as well. I did not expect to mourn food the way I have. I dream of food.
  8. I got a prescription powder called Nystatin. Works great!
  9. I had stalls when I gained weight so I expect them when I lose. I remember times when I was eating horribly and thinking, "wow, I haven't even gained", then wham 10 pound gain.
  10. I was sore like everyone else mentioned. The only pain I have had was from gas and the first couple days of sipping liquids. This is day 6 for me and I'm doing so much better than I anticipated.

    February sleevers

Sleeved on 2/18 and doing much better this morning. Amazing how being home to sleep in your own bed can help so much! I am also able to get my Protein drink down today compared with yesterday when I couldn't get anything down without it hurting.
  12. Thank goodness I bought this stuff because it is the only Fluid I have been able to get to settle well in my new sleeve. All the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury powders I bought before surgery; and liked, do not settle well. Even the chicken Soup gagged me. Maybe I will try again in a few days after my sleeve has adjusted to taking in Protein.

    2 days post op

I had surgery on the 18th and I'm having the same trouble. Every sip hurts. It takes me about 30 minutes to get down 1 oz. I sure hope this gets easier.
  14. I'm almost 4 days post op and I'm having a very hard time getting enough fluids in. I am supposed to do clear fluids for 2 days and then move to full liquids for 2 weeks. The Protein powders that I had no problem with before taste awful to me now. Every sip is followed by a pain as it enters my stomach.
  15. Thank you everyone. Now if I could sleep I would be all set.
