  1. Everyone needs to be here! We're one big family! You don't always like your family members do you? This is just a Thanksgiving dinner gone wrong because uncle Earl said something wacky.....I'm going to let you guys figure out who "Earl" is. I'm just saying Thanksgiving has become one big sh*t show and everyone's invited!!!! Don't worry when everyone gets stuffed they will chill out and shut up.......see Thanksgiving! And I would like to add once again that I am not in fact drinking! That is against the rules!! Although this would be a lot more fun if I were.....oh I know you guys are reading! I can see you down there!!!!
  2. @@lauraellen80 I ask because if I bite into something hard when I'm eating and I don't think it should be instant vomit! I've always been that way. My mom would put a whole chicken in the crock pot and sometimes there would be a tiny hard bone....puke!
  3. @@glitter eyes I didn't even make the beets tonight. My husnabd waits so long to eat that I didn't feel like making them. I will have them and the salad tomorrow! They are wonderful.
  4. @@BLERDgirl Morning star black bean burgers are my favorite!!
  5. Ok so I switched out the salad for greens and made my husband mashed potatoes (his plate) that marinade was AWESOME!!! One of the best things I've made in awhile! Def try that marinade!!
  6. @@sbagby1960 I Polk holes in it with a fork and stick it in the microwave, depending on the size usually 8 mins!
  7. @@Babbs You're going to get me in trouble!
  8. No!!!!!! Not Alex!!! I haven't had to take anyone "outside" a thread but by golly I will before I bring him into it. He's like the dad. NOBODY wants to get dad involved!! The less he knows the better! Fight quietly! Geez! Besides he's from New York! He doesn't look mean but I've heard of the back streets of New York and he may know them all to well......j.s.
  9. @@VSGAnn2014 I know I wasn't! I like to gracefully become a shi* face monster......
  10. No @@VSGAnn2014 there should be NO flouncing!! I put "The" form out! The last guy who said he was going to flounce came back sucking up more than ever! I can't handle that! I'm not sure @@LipstickLady has any more cheek space left for kissing!
  11. @@Babbs Pretty much! I'm not even sure If I'm allowed to play with you anymore. Ha!! She just doesn't know you! You're not bad you just had a bad week with people taking posts over and whatnots. If she had been on the "can we eat f'ing red robin or not" thread she would see how lovely and hilarious we are! If you need to fill out a form I'm sure we can all send them to Alex and he will put them in his suggestion box AKA trash can!
  12. I forgot to add I'm not grilling my turkey, it's too cold. I will be baking it.
  13. @@lauraellen80 Did your quinoa turn out soft? I've never had it turn out soft but maybe it's not suppose too?
  14. @@OctoberRust127 Yes, we all go through that! I can tell you while in the beginning it can feel that way it's in no way fact! I can eat anything I want. I just can't eat a ton of it. Everyone's different, you may have things that don't agree with you but I can almost promise you, you will eat again. It's not as bad as what you're probably imagining. That's a good reason why some people gain the weight back. It's a tool not a promise!
  15. I'm just going to leave this here......because damn it, it's appropriate and FUNNY!!!
  16. @@Alex Brecher I've used the egg beaters southwestern style. I like to sautéed veggies, turkey crumbles, and cheese in a muffin pan and cover it with the egg beater. When it's done baking it makes perfect portions for on the go. I just grab one and heat it for 45 seconds. That's one of my favorites when I'm working and have to be out of the house by 4:30 am. I can't be in the kitchen banging things around trying to cook so it's perfect.
  17. @@Kathy812 Yes! Adding the pancakes to my list!
  18. @@VSGAnn2014 That's what I'm talking about!!!
  19. @@ASUgrad Don't be afraid to ask questions. I've been on here a little while and this happens every so often. You won't always like what someone says. They may be having a crappy day or that may just be their personality. I've encountered some "odd" responses but chose to ignore them and not respond. Those same people will be with me on another post some time later and be wonderful. I don't think you were doing anything wrong by posting this question, responses and reactions to responses made it go down hill fast. You do as you please but it would benefit you if you just take responses with a grain of salt. Take what you need and leave the rest. Nothing for anyone to get all worked up about. Eye roll and move on!
  20. @@magtart I switched from real spaghetti and started using spaghetti squash instead. The family really likes it and it's good for you!
  21. @@LipstickLady No I'm sure I didn't because If someone does get pissy with me I could careless (especially a pissy stranger). My butt doesn't get hurt too often. I know how to click off while they can * off......well you know I had that picture too. Maybe we were on the same thread, it was probably from you.
  22. I asked! I wanted to know! I even wrote it on my list of questions to ask him before surgery. It was something new I had learned about and was curious to know. I like to know everything I can when someone's going to be cutting my bits off, I fully trust my surgeon but I was curious. It's ok. As a patient you have a "right to know" never feel bad about asking questions!! In fact I'm almost positive I made this same post asking people what size they had or asked in another one.
  23. @@sbg224 I've been using my crockpot a lot lately too. Must be the weather. It's very convenient. I've never made any of the things you make but I will.
  24. That's hard to tell because all evals are different, mine was a 20 min talk about my "support system" at home. A 150 question test asking a bunch of the same questions in different ways. Then a ridiculous 20 question pencil test asking me 15 different ways wether or not I'm a drug user. My end result was that she couldn't give me an answer either way. Not a yes or a no. The only good thing I got from it was certified papers proving I wasn't crazy that I can pull out when arguing with my husband. "Nope, says right there buddy NOT crazy, now where are yours?!"
  25. @@mmincinci I have never heard of that but it sounds delicious! You will have to come back and post a pic if you're able! I love tzatziki sauce! I use to buy it all the time when I was close to a Trader Joe's. Do you make your own?
