  1. @@WLSResources/ClothingExch Oh I know! My patients are on dialysis so I'm thankful to have two working kidneys!
  2. @@Mega_100 wonderful we can all use as much support as we can get. I thought this would be easier being as my stomach is so small...nope, not so much but I'm doing it!
  3. I was just looking at the calendar and realized the last day of my liquids is my one year surgery day! November 3rd! Funny and man, times passed fast!
  4. Ummm you're weird!! That's all! No, I'm just kiddin. I didn't have any of that happen. Does it make you walk all funny?
  5. @@jess9395 Girl, I'm on my second 32 oz mug of water and a cup of the chicken broth. My stomach is like ummmm, no! Peeing is the worst!! The first two days are always the hardest for me. I wish I had some of the PB cookie. It's one of my favorites. I have a tub of the strawberry mousse, mint chocolate chip, chocolate truffle & orange one. I'm not feeling any of those. I had a Atkins royal Dark chocolate and I like them a lot but I'm waiting on my premier protein shakes, they have a lot more protein in them. I'll be lucky to get 3 in today. We (stomach) are going through a battlefield right now. I will be taking some zzzquil by 7 since I have to get up at 3:00am for work so I'm cramming it in now. Zzzquil is my saving grace because if not I would go nuts at night eating!
  6. @@glitter eyes Hey that will work too! It's whatever you can tolerate.
  7. @@LipstickLady Yes! She's for real my aunt! I know her personally, I've seen the butt shrink and extend....we're close like that!
  8. My aunt did have gastric bypass about 8 years ago and she gained all her weight back plus some. She's taking "diet pills" now. It's sad and it sucks! On the other hand we are talking about a woman who would still visit the buffets and continue to eat even when it caused her pain. I think it was inevitable in her case. It can and does happen. So with that being said I am hyper aware of this fact and I take measures to keep myself in check. Ex: the 5 day liquid diet as a nice reminder.
  9. @@LipstickLady liquefies in the mouth and sticks like glue to the a**!!!
  10. @@LipstickLady No! That's not on the plan!
  11. @@proudgrammy oh I'm sure you will be AND you will somewhat understand what they go through.
  12. Ok! I stopped after school and got some goods! Now I just need my husband to show up with the shakes. As you can see I was serious about marking these gallon water containers. I bought the glass mason jar because it's cute and easier to drink out of than the jug AND it's 32 oz's. I'm also very aware that it's a straw but I don't have any issues with the straw so my surgeon said its ok.
  13. Oh and to start off my morning lecture my professor had this for me at my desk! Dang it!!! Filled with candy of course.
  14. @@VSGAnn2014 YES!! I'm a horrible water Intaker! I'm sitting in class and my stomach is acting a fool! I didn't get all my shake in and it's use to food. I'm going to win this! The war has started!!! @@jess9395 Sounds yum!
  15. I do have my breakfast ready for the trip to school!
  16. @@AJ cowgirl Yes!! You're ahead of me but I'm working on that 16oz of water and I just gave my husband the "you're on your own" speech as far as food and the kids. It's about me this week!
  17. @@Dub I remember being on the pre-op diet for two weeks and then another week after surgery. I was so ready to eat! Now I'm doing it for myself without having to. Funny how things work out. I never dreaded it though. I feel stronger when I accomplish things I set my mind to so its more of a test of willpower also. In the beginning I was always reading where people were eating all this junk and regaining thinking WTH! I would NEVER do something like that! How can they do that blah blah blah....now 1 year out I haven't gained anything BUT I've been eating more and things I swore I never would (like two sugar cookies for dinner) I had 0 hunger for months after surgery but that all came back with a vengeance. I feel hungry now. I have started to get lazy about my food. Not doing as much protein as I should and replacing it with other foods like salads ect....salads are good but not when you fill up on lettuce and not the protein. Long story short I'm slipping, man! I need to kick myself in the arse : ) I worked to hard to let myself down. With that being said I'm going to start on that water BEFORE my beloved coffee!
  18. @@sweetie716 I will check in periodically during the day too!
  19. @jane13@sweetie716 Thank you guys for joining in! I'm starting today until Tuesday but if I do well I may stretch it out a bit. We will see. 5 days is a great start and reset. I do suspect I will lose a ton but I am hoping to reset my eating!
  20. @Chanti_Thank you! It's more to try to get back on track. I feel like I'm starting to pick up some bad habits again (sugar) and I refuse to go backwards!
  21. @@mommy319 woohoo! Our group is growing!!
  22. @@KindaFamiliar Well that does it! I won't be moving to Australia now!
