  1. I am already planning low carb high protein meals for when this is over! Here's the first one I'm going to try.
  2. @@_Kate_ Thank you! I am pretty proud of myself. It's not often I feel completely satisfied with myself but doing this surgery (on of the few things I did that was truly just for myself) was/is one of my greatest accomplishments. I feel like I'm living a new life.
  3. @@Margie122 That was my problem too. Well, it wasn't a problem yet but it was working its way into one. I feel too good being smaller and I dont ever want to go back to the big me. I will do whatever it takes to stay at a "normal" healthy weight and if that means I have to reteach myself how to stay on track then so be it!
  4. @@agalindo17 Mine said the same thing. I had to take them in the beginning but it's not necessary once I started eating more "normal". We check my labs every few months and they are perfect. I do take them sometimes just to take them.
  5. @@siddarhi lol! Mines all chocolate! It helps with is candy monster chowing down next to me.
  6. @@Alex Brecher Yes, and yes! I haven't dressed up in years! I was always "plus sized". We went to Walmart today to get my son a costume and I thought what the heck!? I want to dress up too. It was so much fun AND I got to walk a few miles.
  7. My Last glass of water to get down. I have a son on the left of me making himself sick on candy lol! I haven't even looked at it.
  8. @@Amberina Congratulations!!! See it's all worth it! I took the kids trick or treating and I didn't touch any of it! I don't even want to! Truth!
  9. @@AJ cowgirl Yes!!! You can do it! It helps with the motivation for sure!
  10. @@AJ cowgirl This does seem to be a lot harder! I thought it would be easier with half a stomach but not so much! This is my day 3 too. Walk challenge? I will have to know the details.
  11. @@wannaBthinsoon Well yea! I am a skeleton!! Lol!! @@LipstickLady oh just shut yo mouth!!
  12. @@proudgrammy I do 3-4 depending if I feel hungry or not. I've only had 2 so far today and it's 4:50pm here. Fist time in YEARS I'm dressing up. Well a little bit anyway. My son, daughter and I are ready to go!!
  13. Example of the horribleness I've encountered this morning. Kid laying practically on me crunching potato chips in my ear! He can keep his sponge bob and chips I'm outta here!!
  14. Yay! I love thrift stores and I love Colorado! If I didn't own a house and husband (lol) I'd move there!!
  15. Maybe @@Alex Brecher can fix it?
  16. @@wannaBthinsoon I'm planning on focusing back on protein which is why I'm doing this. I got away from the protein first rule. I think I will just follow what I was doing in the beginning. Eggs or shake for breakfast. Chicken and fish for lunch and dinners, tuna, ect. The basics. I need to stop adding so many sides to my plate because I tend to eat them first and protein gets left behind. I'd rather eat a salad and then I get full and leave out the meat so I need to reverse that.
  17. @@sweetie716 No, I've never heard of a "Harris Teeter" but I have the others.
  18. @@itstimealready I would just like to apologies for taking over your post with my silliness. You will have to forgive me. I'm on a liquid diet "for fun" and I think it may be affecting my brain a touch. I'm not usually this weird. I still stand by what I said about the ice though. It doesn't have gass in it that would affect you. You are newly operated on and you don't need that kind of ridiculous added stress over ice. Hope you have a fast recovery!
  19. I went ahead and weighted this morning and I'm down 2.8 lbs since we started! That wasn't even my goal but I will take it!!!!
