  1. @@jane13 Thank you!! I'm here! Sorry I've been traveling 4 hours out of town for work every other day and then school on all the others! It's been crazy!! Then we have my daughter who wanted to try out for winter gaurd so that took up my nights for auditions. It's definanly TGIF! Finally two days off! My birthday was good. My nurses at work got me "monster cookies" and cupcakes then one of my patients brought me Pizza Hut and a huge tray of brownies...my husband bought me a Hershey's cake AND a carrot cake with peanut butter cookie custard! I had a 1/2 inch of chocolate cake and two table spoons of ice cream out of all of that! I am pretty proud of myself. I think everyone around me gained 5 lbs though I tried to check on here the last few days but the notifications have been screwed up so I couldn't see who was talking to me. Today it's fixed!
  2. This is AMAZING and it's delicious on shrimp too!!
  3. @@VSGAnn2014 I do all that but the walking...well I'm on my feet all day at work but that's it. I don't think about sugar too much it's mainly when it put in my face!
  4. @@sbrainwater They will probably tell you do exercise outside of work. I don't know, it depends on your program.
  5. It's still not working for me! I have 26 notifications and no clue what they are!!
  6. How early out are you?
  7. You could always call the hospital and ask the on call nurse.
  8. It normal but I hope your drinking protein shakes?! You will get sick f your only eating a yogurt.
  9. Ok! Why do some of my words keep getting highlighted blue?!!
  10. I don't know but before I had my surgery I was worried about stories of regain ect and my surgeon said not to worry about that just do what I'm suppose to do BUT if I ever needed it he could always do a revise. I don't see that happening. My husband took the kids and I out for my early birthday breakfast I always get the eggs Benedict and I ate the exact same amount I ate at 3 months post-op. A good 5 bites and done. I've been eating on that same meal ALL day! I finally throw it away. See what your surgeon says. You would be different case than me.
  11. @@sbrainwater Thank you! I work hard to get those stats and keep them. Humm things that help me....well this website was huge for me because I learned a lot from members continuously. I basically just take it day by day. I don't weigh too often because I knew that would drive me nuts so that helped a lot. It hasn't been easy but it hasn't been real hard either. All of my weight loss came from what I put in my mouth. I've exercised a few times but I wasn't good at that part of the process. I had 0 hunger for the first few months and that went away at month 4 I'd say. I get hungry now and I really have to watch what I eat. I have really good restriction so I can't eat too much. Everyday is different. I can eat anything I want I just have days of not being hungry and days I feel like I'm hungry all day! Water has always been a pain for me. I have to really focus on getting enough water in. I like sugar! Someday I don't feel like eating and I just want sugar! I have to fight through those days. I was diligent as far as tracking my food. Everything I ate I tracked. I've kinda strayed from that so I need to get back on it. The weight came off surprisingly fast but this last few lbs are hanging on for dear life. I'm pretty sure I will be forced to exercise regularly to get it off. It's hard to give advice because you may be completely different than I am. Just do your part and let your body do its. If you read through here enough you'll see that everyone stalls, people always thing they aren't losing enough or fast enough compared to this person or whatever. Don't do that! Don't compare numbers, time frames or anything thing else with anybody! Just be present and aware of your own body and what you need to do. Oh and don't let anyone ruffle your feathers in here! Take what you need and leave the rest. Good luck!!!
  12. It happens and it's annoying!!! You just have to wait it out.
  13. @@Blue1213 ha! We've had one for years. They are too sweet for me even before surgery. He have a new donut shop (Hurts doughnut) that's taking over here. I haven't been there either. People do love KK!

  19. I just want to thank you all for your suggestions and help through this hardship I'm having. No joke! We all know this isn't easy and if it is for you God bless. I have a lot of eyes on me so to speak and I don't want to let them down but more than that I don't any to let ME down. There are times in your life when you will be called "selfish" well I am, I will own that when it comes to this body and my health for once in my life I will be selfish and I won't fell sorry for it!! You guys are a true blessing and I am now and forever thankful for each and every one of you!
  20. @@sbrainwater I've never heard of that bit all this sugar -free is doing a number on my baby stomach. I can't even do protein bars anymore.
