  1. Yep just wait it out! It's just a learning process. Now you know!!
  2. @@kelseycakes20 Good job girl! Keep it up! I wish I had done this at 19 instead of 33! Smart move!
  3. @@richkatrina Water is a pain in my keester! It helps to add some flavoring to it but I don't like all that fake sugar! All you can really do is just keep working on it. It's a process for sure but it gets better.
  4. @@livvsmum Awe love it! Thank you for sharing! You did an amazing job congrats!
  5. At 6 weeks I was on a regular diet and have no food issues so I eat a lot of seafood like crab and shrimp, lean steaks, grilled chicken strips, turkey sausage, any protein really. Don't be afraid to try stuff just eat slow and if you start to not feel so go stop. As far as vegetables I can eat anything I just fill up on protein so I don't get much vegetables.
  6. @MarielbxDrink some smooth move tea! That's will get you going! Don't worry your body will readjust soon. It's probably just fluid shifting. Stay off the scale for a week if you can.
  7. @jenn1Congrats on being so close!! Yes,individual plans are nice!

  12. @@Dreamingofhealth Carbs are tricky because there are "good" carbs and "bad" carbs. If you don't know about them it's best to google because it's a lot to learn. Also when counting carbs you subtract certain things from the total number Like fiber, any sugar alcohol, ect...you have to know how to calculate it. Some people just eat whatever and do fine. I only keep my carbs in check because I know the effect they have on my body and weight.
  13. @@Dreamingofhealth You're welcome! Lowering your carbs forces your body to burn fat instead for carbs for fuel, thus you melt more fat off your body (that's the short of it) everyone is different but the Atkins Diet worked really well for me BUT I was still over eating and hungry even on it. When I had the surgery I knew that it was going to be somewhat comparative to my old Atkins diet but with out the over eating all the time. I treat it as such. As far as How many carbs you need it depends. I don't know all your history but you can always ask your Nutritionist or Google it. I'm assuming my diet will change over time but as of right now I'm doing the high protein and when you do that with meats your carb intake is going to be low because most meats are either 0 or low carb. Same with cheese. I cut out all table sugar. I don't really care for fake sugar but I do use it in some of my teas. I'm trying to eat as clean as possible with what little food I do eat. Most of my nutrition still comes from my shakes and quest bars as you can see.
  14. @@chloe3.5 Yay! Congratulations on making that sleeve work for you!
  15. I'm post surgery BUT congrats on having a date!
  16. @@VGB Don't be upset. Picture and videos are a turning point for a lot of people. I have one in my gallery that helped me decide to have surgery and it isn't even the worst one. The good thing about having that is you can use it as motivation and see just how far you've come and where you don't want to go back to!
  17. Oh I would just like to point out that FB says we are like twins soooooo if FB say it you know it has to be true!! I'm only a couple pounds bigger!!
  18. Oh and I had to be on a two week pre-op diet so that's why the two Weeks!
  19. Would have been two weeks but I pushed it back to 3 due to school.
  20. @@melva66 Nope you don't "have" to wait but I bet you will! Lol! The answer would be when ever your guts don't feel like there going to bust and the thought of anyone putting any pressure on your stomach doesn't make you want to punch them in the face! Yep, that's pretty much covers it!
