  1. I'm In a constant state of ketosis...for almost 5 months now.
  2. @@Bellarose100 I honestly don't know. I ordered them from a supplier on eBay. I didn't even look at the package. I know they are human hair and 250 grams.
  3. @@VSGAnn2014 it's a dog eat dog world ha!
  4. @@downsizingdiva I sure do...every stinking day! 80+ BUT I do use protein shakes and quest bars to help get me there
  5. My DR/Nutritionist took my last weight in office BEFORE submitting to the insurance co for approval. You won't Start a pre-op diet until your approved (or at least I didn't it's pointless if you don't get approved) therefor that surgery weight will have already been approved the day of surgery. I hope that makes sense.?
  6. Your psychiatrist is obviously a moron. There's a HUGE difference in eating only a few ounces before surgery than being ok with that amount of food after . DUH! @@MoMo12onTheGo
  7. Sometimes I think this losing weight makes people all pissy...must be hormones! People are always "flouncing". Chill!
  8. @@Rtbrewer2 Yes, we will need to know what stage food you will be on before anyone can give you ideas.
  9. Well now how are you going to get the rite of passage if you don't suffer a little?! Lol! If your allowed, try to break if up with some savory flavored broths. There's not a whole lot you can do but grin and bare it....
  10. Humm I guess if your Dr say it is?
  11. It's probably just your body in ketosis if you really low in carbs. (Essentially it's your body breaking down fat instead of using carbs..it's a good thing) I've had it for Months now. Mine is more of a medal taste though. If it's not that are you diabetic?
  12. I'm taking the iron and folic acid now too so hopefully that will slow it down.
  13. @@purrfctangel Yes it does! Especially nice thick hair! Thank you!
  14. @@donald0717 Sounds like your making good progress!
  15. @@Bruce Peter Is that liquid soup or full of vegetables? Remember just because you can eat it doesn't mean you should. It doesn't sound like your eating anything "bad" your post op I'd definitely different than mine though. I was still on thickened liquids at that time and couldn't have fruit. If your surgeon says it's ok then you should be alright. Follow your plan.
  16. The decision wasn't hard at all it was all the waiting for the surgery day that stinks!
  17. I did refried beans with soft toppings, ricotta bake and crab cakes (made w/o breading) take it slooooooow!
  18. I gain some because I wasn't suppose to go under the BMI I needed. If it's not going to keep you from being approved let it go and work harder.
  19. If you do your part it has no choice but to work.
  20. Burping is normal (4 months out and still do it daily) fluids are hard in the beginning. Keep at it it will get better as time passes.
  21. Yes stop weighing yourself everyday.
  22. Man, I still do (4 months post-op) it's not very lady like but it sure makes me feel better! I also have a burp-hickup mix that lets me know I'm full I like that because it's a sign to stop!
