@@rmspencer, in my experience I have seen varying degrees of differences from surgeon to surgeon; from pre op to post op procedures. Also keep in mind that the individuals helping us have blood work and other vital information to help tailor a nutritional plan for us. Early in the process they are likely generating baselines and as we progress our diets and nutritional, supplemental and mineral intake can change.

My supplement regimen began my second week post op. This includes a weekly sublingual B12 of 1000mcg.

  11. Yes, after weight loss I have found myself thinking of and wanting it more. It has been a gradual increase but is definitely noticeable.

Great loss and im glad your energy is coming back. Are you any sublingual B12, if so how much and what frequency?
  14. Thank you all for commenting about this. I've recently read these two articles below from one of my favorite tech sites. I'm really a nerd at heart! http://www.theverge.com/2014/8/14/6001153/the-best-fitness-tracker-you-can-buy http://www.theverge.com/2014/10/29/7118533/microsoft-health-band-hub-for-fitness-data
  15. @@stephh, where you goin with all those steps?! Jk! Thank you so much for the post!
  16. @@stephh, right now im not considering upping my intake. My guide up to this point is my gauge on if I feel hungry. If I feel hungry I'll eat if not I'll keep drinking. Strange, but my goals are liquid and Protein. So im combining protein and liquid mainly. I want to track my activity, intake, sleep and vitals and look at progress over time in relation to these. The goal here is to try to gain control over some aspects to promote long term loss. It would also help my surgeons office and NUT when discussing results. I know I won't be able to control everything, but I'm a firm believer in data and interpreting it. Then using that data to help achieve goals.
  17. Thank you so much @@stephh! I really want to track my activity and try to draw correlations with my loss over time. Does your fit bit offer those types of "reports"?
  18. I don't think it counts but I broke into a half jog during my walk last week, lol. I'm considering a dance class soon. Hip hop and salsa!
  19. @@chellede, im glad you mentioned MFP. I've been contemplating a fitness tracker. I've looked into actual hardware and am considering an app too. Has anyone had any experience with any of these; hardware, wearables, or apps? What did you like or dislike about them? What features helped you and why? What features do you wish they offered? I'm not looking to drop some serious coin but do consider it an investment.

Both actually. I'm still trying to get to my goal of 80 per day but I'm still early post.
